Gun Shows are challenges used to unlock new weapons and Weapon Cases in Far Cry 6 Vaas Insanity. There are a total of 8 Gun Show locations on the Main Map. Difficulties range from Green (Easy), Yellow (Medium), and Red (Hard). Gun Shows are organized by Weapon Cases in the Armory where depending on the type of Weapon Case; it will unlock a weapon in that category. For example, unlocking the Far Cry 6 Recurve Bow after completing the Gun Show: Bow Challenge will unlock the Bow Weapon Case in the Specialist Category at The Armory and can be equipped in the Specialist Weapon Slot in the player’s inventory.

Gun Show’s will unlock Weapon Cases for their respective category and reward a green rarity weapon; these weapons are ready to be equipped instantly after completion of the Gun Show. When players want to start a Gun Show Challenge, they will have to approach the red-glowing chest with a tiger display and hold the interact button to activate it.

During a Gun Show Challenge, players will have to survive in a horde defense activity and kill a certain amount of enemies. Then, depending on the Difficulty Bar, players will have to defeat more enemies for each Gun Show. The number can range between 8 – 25 enemies per challenge. After defeating the set number of enemies, any remaining enemies will disappear so that players can collect their reward at the tiger display chests in Far Cry 6.

Every Gun Show Location and Their Rewards in Far Cry 6 Vaas Insanity

Players will be rewarded with a Weapon Case, a green rarity weapon, and a Temporary Power Pickup. The Temporary Power Pickup will be related to the type of weapon collected from the tiger display chests. For example, completing the Gun Show: Auto-Pistol Challenge can reward the player with the “Strong Arm” Temporary Power Pickup. The Power Pickup grants increased secondary weapon damage for the Auto-Pistol & Pistol weapons.

Here are the Gun Show Challenge locations organized by their respective Weapon Case Category in The Armory.

Primary Weapon Case (Gun Show Locations)

• The SMG Gun Show: North of the starting area, The Compound. It will be on the beach-side next to The Beach Safe House, Trial “Pain,” Trial “Survival,” and The Mindf*** “Balancing Point” in Far Cry 6.
• The Shotgun Gun Show: East of The Compound, it will be off the dirt path in an elevated position next to The Jungle Safe House, “Mindf*** “Checking Out,” and Memory Link Door Number 3.
• The Rifle Gun Show: North of The Compound, it will be off the dirt path in the volcanic rock region of the Map. The locations next to it are Memory Mission, “You Hit The Ground,” The Volcanic Safe House, and Memory Link Door Number 3.

Secondary Weapon Case (Gun Show Locations)

• Auto Pistol Gun Show: Northeast of The Compound, it will be on the right side of the red path heading towards the Memory Mission “Birthright” and is next to the “Survival” Trial. 2nd closest Gun Show Challenge to the starting area.

Specialist Weapon Case (Gun Show Locations)

• Sniper Rifle Gun Show: East of The Compound, the Sniper Rifle Gun Show will be elevated off the dirt path. The locations next to it are Gun Show: Bow and The Jungle Safe House. 3rd closest Gun Show Challenge to the starting area.
• Machine Gun; Gun Show: Southeast of The Compound, it will be on a floating island only accessible by zipline. The locations next to it are Memory Mission “You Hit The Ground” and Memory Link Door Number 1.
• Grenade Launcher Gun Show: West of The Compound, it will be on a cliff-side near the edge of the Map. The locations next to it are Trial “Endurance,” Trial “Pain,” Mindf*** “The Balancing Point,” and Memory Link Door Number 2.
• Bow; Gun Show: South of The Compound, following the red path to Memory Mission “You Hit The Ground” will lead players straight to the Gun Show. The locations next to it are The Volcanic Safe House in Far Cry 6, Gun Show: Sniper Rifle, and Trial “Endurance.” It is the closest Gun Show Challenge to the starting area.
