10 Sookie Made A Mess In The Kitchen

Every fan remembers the pilot episode when Sookie was a mess in the Independence Inn’s kitchen.

It seemed like someone could get seriously hurt at any moment, and Sookie kept burning her fingers while tasting the sauce that she was cooking and moving pans and pots around. Her kitchen staff did what they could to make sure that she didn’t do any real damage and at the end of the scene, something caught on fire and Sookie had no idea. 9 Lorelai Helped Sookie Get Ready For Her First Date With Jackson

In the season 1 episode “Double Date,” Lorelai agreed to go on a date with Sookie, Jackson, and Jackson’s awful cousin Rune. She wanted her best friend to find love but it was definitely a rough evening.

Fans love the scene beforehand when Lorelai helped Sookie get ready. When Lorelai asked why Sookie wasn’t wearing a coat, Sookie responded in her typical kooky fashion: “Oh well, it got caught around the thing, and then when I twisted around to get loose, and then the choking started. In the season 3 episode “I Solemnly Swear,” Sookie was upset that Jackson hadn’t brought her any brussels sprouts. Season 1 of Gilmore Girls features many sweet Dean and Rory moments and that includes Rory asking Sookie to make Rocky Road cookies since they’re Dean’s favorites.

In the episode “Love And War And Snow,” Sookie made up a funny song about the cookies, and it was especially charming as there wasn’t much to it. Fans loved learning about Sookie’s magic risotto which she believed helped her mom when she was sick. In a hilarious episode from the first season, a food critic came to the inn, ordered that dish, and didn’t love it, and Sookie was heartbroken about it.

Fans loved watching Sookie in the episode “A Deep-Fried Korean Thanksgiving” as she drank too much after getting upset over Jackson trying to deep-fry a turkey. When Lorelai gave her a beer, she said, “And keep ’em coming,” and as the evening went on, she got more and more stressed out.

2 Sookie Named Lorelai’s Wedding Cake Clyde

Season 2 began with Rory and Lorelai’s road trip and when driving away from Stars Hollow, Lorelai called Sookie to check that she hadn’t made the entire cake for the wedding yet.

Sookie lied and said that she hadn’t when, of course, she had made a massive cake with multiple tiers. After hanging up the phone, Sookie said, “You were a good cake, Clyde. Never should have named you.” This scene is wonderful for several reasons: besides being funny, it also drove home how much Sookie loved Lorelai and how she would have done anything for her.

1 Sookie And Lorelai In The Revival

Gilmore Girls fans couldn’t wait to see Sookie in A Year In The Life and the scene was perfect: when Lorelai walked into the Dragonfly Inn’s kitchen, she saw that Sookie had made many wedding cakes for her and Luke.

This was not only an emotional scene and one of Sookie’s best, but fans felt nostalgic for the original series as Sookie made a cake with daisies on it. Viewers remember that when Max proposed to Lorelai in the season 1 finale, he ordered 1,000 yellow daisies for her.
