From Lane and Zack’s Gilmore Girls wedding to their shared interest in music, there are many reasons why they’re a favorite couple. But for Reddit user sslyth_erin, Lane could have fallen in love with someone else, and that’s her bandmate Brian. The fan wrote, “He’s just nicer than Zach, and he wrote that song for her!”

It’s interesting to imagine Lane and Brian dating, and it’s easy to see them working out, as they do have music in common. Both characters also have intelligent, kind personalities and they get along well.

9 Rory And Marty

Rory’s Yale experience starts off fairly strong, as she gets used to living with Paris and becomes good friends with Marty. The two have a hilarious meet cute when she finds him naked near her dorm room and they start hanging out. It seems like sparks fly, but Rory is caught up with reuniting with Dean and nothing happens.

8 Anna And Max

Rory’s English teacher/Lorelai’s fiance and April’s mom never get a chance to meet each other, but they do seem like they could get along. Anna and Max are both passionate and ambitious in their own ways, and Max would respect that Anna is a strong-willed parent who would do anything to help her daughter out. Max might also help Anna let loose a bit and become more mellow.

Finn could take his love of the dramatic Life and Death Brigade and use it for something more productive.

Luke’s Gilmore Girls love interests Lorelai and Rachel do have a lot in common. Nicole and Jason could bond over their strong work ethics, and if the other person had to cancel a date or work extra late one night, they likely wouldn’t mind at all.
