Hasbro revealed the first look at four upcoming figures from the final installment in the Transformers: War For Cybertron Trilogy, Kingdom.
The first look comes courtesy of IGN, with the figures drawing inspiration from the Beast Wars animated series. The figures that were revealed include Rattrap, Cyclonus, Cheetor and Megatron in his Tyrannosaurus rex form. More details will be revealed at the virtual Hasbro PulseCon event, which begins Saturday at 10 a.m. ET.
Each figure comes with specific accessories, such as Cheetor’s tail whip and a miniature version of Rattrap’s animal form. The figures will be available for purchase on Jan. 1, 2021. Fans will be able to pre-order the figures starting on Sept. 26.
Beast Wars focuses on the conflict between the Maximals and Predacons and became a beloved piece of Transformers canon due to its computer-generation animation and rich storytelling. Details about Kingdom remain scarce, though a poster has shown the Autobots and Maximals joining forces.
The Transformers: War For Cybertron Trilogy is an anime series developed by Rooster Teeth. The first installment, Siege, is currently available to stream on Netflix. Earthrise and Kingdom have not recieved a release date.
