Jason Momoa Approves of Your ‘Thirsty’ Aquaman Meme
Jason Momoa recently shared his opinion on a popular internet meme that features him as the DCEU’s Aquaman.

During a recent appearance on The Ellen Show, Aquaman star Jason Momoa and host Ellen DeGeneres discussed a popular meme featuring the actor in character as the superhero, motivating fans to practice proper hygiene with its caption: “Wash your hands like you’re washing Jason Momoa.”
Momoa recently shared the clip from The Ellen Show on his Instagram, in which he says that he is “stoked” about the meme, but that he never expected he would be “the candidate to promoting washing themselves.”
Momoa has become known for his role as Aquaman/Arthur Curry in the DC Extended Universe, portraying the character first in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, followed by Justice League and finally, 2018’s Aquaman. Directed by James Wan, Aquaman is currently the highest-grossing DCEU film.
A follow-up to Aquaman is currently in the works with Momoa, Patrick Wilson and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II all set to reprise their roles. There is currently no official word on the plot or additional characters that will appear in Aquaman 2. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on Dec. 16, 2022.
In addition to Aquaman 2, Momoa will appear in the upcoming film Dune, which is an adaptation of the Frank Herbert novel. Directed by Denis Villeneuve, Dune is currently scheduled for release on December 18, 2020.
