The cast has come a long way since their early days at the Jersey Shore. Let’s take a look back at what they looked like then compared to now.

When Jersey Shore first aired in 2009, it was a show all about partying. Now, 11 years later, the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation spin-off is more focused on the roommates’ real lives, with a little side of partying. The original cast have all gone through a lot over the years. From drunk nights, heartbreaks, and physical fights to weddings, babies, and more heartbreak and fights, these roommates have come a long way since the first season, both mentally and physically. So, let’s take a deeper look into what the roommates were like then and compare them to now.
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino
Mike “The Situation” went from chasing girls and partying to becoming a husband and soon-to-be dad. In between shooting Jersey Shore and Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, Mike got himself help in rehab, married his wife Lauren, and paid the price for some of his past mistakes. Mike spent 8 months in prison back in 2018 for tax invasion before later being sentenced to probation of community service. Now, Mike is living a positivity-focused life while preparing to welcome Baby Situation around May 2021.
Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi
Snooki may have had the ultimate transformation both physically and mentally. During the early days of Jersey Shore, Snooki was a wild meatball. Now, Snooki is married to her husband Jionni. The two have three beautiful kids together, Lorenzo, Giovanna, and Angelo. Snooki did in fact return for Jersey Shore: Family Vacation however, she announced her retirement from the show in the season 3 finale.
DJ Pauly D
DJ Pauly D looked just about the same as he did 11 years ago up until recently. After Jersey Shore concluded, Pauly’s DJ-ing career took off. In 2019, Pauly and fellow roommate Vinny starred on the dating show Double Shot At Love while also appearing on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. Although Pauly left the show still single, he is no longer on the market. He is now dating Nikki Hall from the show. He also has blonde hair and a beard.
Jenni “JWoww” Farley
Jenni “Jwoww” Farley has been through a lot over the years. Jenni has two kids, Meilani, 6, and Greyson, 4, with her ex-husband Roger Matthews. In 2019, Jenni and Roger went through a very nasty and public divorce. Jenni is now dating Zack Carpinello while also co-parenting with Roger.
Vinny Guadagnino
Vinny was always the shyer one out of the group. Now, he is a stripper in Las Vegas. Vinny was on Double Shot at Love but unfortunately did not find love. He also has written a cookbook “Keto Guido” focused on his healthy, Keto diet.
Deena Cortese
Deena joined the crew during season 3 of the original show. She is now married with an almost 2-year-old son and has another baby on the way. Recently, she hinted at retiring from the spin-off after this season.
Ronnie Ortiz-Margo
Ronnie may have changed his looks and is now a father, but he is still the same when it comes to toxic relationships. Ronnie is finally out of his unhealthy relationship with his daughter’s mom and is now dating a new girl.
Angelina Pivarnick
Angelina was not in much of the original show but is the drama queen of the spin-off. During her time away from the show, Angelina was actually a nurse. She is now married and has had a lot of plastic surgery done over the years.
Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola
Sammi “Sweetheart” was on the entire original series but did not return for the spinoff. After years of her toxic relationship with Ronnie, Sammi has finally found the one and is engaged. Fans have speculated that Sammi no longer talks to any of her Jersey Shore co-stars.
Who would have thought that those tan, wild party animals from Jersey Shore would actually all manage to turn their lives around? They may have changed their looks and mentalities but that doesn’t mean they aren’t still full of drama.
