MCU 10 Characters We Want To See In WandaVision

If you have any misgivings that the MCU’s WandaVision might be just another TV series, then let us point out that the show’s budget is a mind-boggling $150 million. This immense budget guarantees we’ll be getting the best out of Scarlet Witch and Vision, with almost every scenario seeming possible.

Due to this, we think it’s also within the realm of possibility to see many characters from the MCU in the series, which is why we’ve come up with scenarios that would make these appearances make total sense. In order to hype yourself up for Phase Four of the MCU, check out these 10 characters we want to see in WandaVision.

10 Steve Rogers

It was Steve who sympathized with Wanda the most when she was confined to the Avengers compound, a time when nobody else understood her guilt over the explosion in Lagos. They continued their association in Avengers: Infinity War as well, where Rogers saved her from the Black Order.

It would be strange if there wasn’t any mention of Steve in WandaVision considering their past connection, so a cameo from the character would be most welcome. This doesn’t have to be from the actual Steve Rodgers, as it would make more sense for Wanda to create a fantasy where she meets Steve once again.

9 Doctor Strange

The most obvious character to be mentioned here, we expect big things going forward between Wanda and Doctor Strange since they’ve been confirmed to star together in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Simply having Wanda show up in the movie doesn’t sound so appealing, especially since WandaVision has so much time to set up her meeting with the doctor. For this reason, it would be best if Strange were to appear on the show near its end to carry the story into the movie.

8 Phil Coulson

Most didn’t think we’d see Coulson again in the film series after his “death” in The Avengers, yet Coulson still showed up in Captain Marvel. With WandaVision having elements of magic and most likely alternate realities, Coulson’s appearance isn’t out of the question.

The reason we want him on is the fact that WandaVision is already bringing back supporting characters from various films, such as Monica Rambeau from Captain Marvel, Darcy Lewis from Thor, and Randall Park from Ant-Man and the Wasp. Having Coulson would be the icing on the cake since he’s had the most appearances across MCU media.

7 Ultron

Wanda and Ultron could be considered siblings in a way, seeing as both of them got their powers and their essence from the Mind Stone. She even considered him a valuable ally for a time, and with her guilt over the events of Age of Ultron still with her, the villain could be part of her psyche.

Meanwhile, it was Vision who ended Ultron’s threat once and for all, and with his status uncertain, we might just see both Vision and Ultron’s consciousness meet again. The villain has major connections with the title characters, and there’s still enough intrigue to warrant another appearance.

6 J.A.R.V.I.S

As we all know, Vision was birthed from J.A.R.V.I.S’s A.I., meaning he is the latter in most ways. The most ideal scenario would be to have Vision revert back to his roots to keep his conscience alive, and fans would love to have J.A.R.V.I.S back once more.

More than anything, it would be cool to see Vision interact with his “father” of sorts. It would also clear up exactly how much of J.A.R.V.I.S really does exist within Vision, clearing up an argument that was brought by Bruce Banner in Avengers: Infinity War.

5 Hawkeye

Last we saw Wanda and Clint, the latter was consoling her over the loss of Vision. Even before that, it was Clint who was closest to Wanda before his retirement, and he retrieved her from Vision’s captivity in Captain America: Civil War. There’s always been an older-younger sibling-like relationship between the two.

In order to bridge the gap between Avengers: Endgame and WandaVision, Clint would be the best person to appear in the beginning of the series to make clear where the timeline is set to kick things off. It would also set up Hawkeye up for his own solo series shortly to come.

4 Baron Mordo

This would be an interesting twist that would catch people by surprise, yet it would also make sense. Since we’ve heard nothing about Mordo’s whereabouts after Doctor Strange, he would be welcome in WandaVision, where Mordo could be seen pursuing Wanda’s magical abilities.

It would be another way to add in Doctor Strange into the mix, so we’d like to see Mordo arrive in the series near the end. Not only would this be good in terms of story, it would make for an interesting match-up to see Mordo go up against Wanda or even Vision.

3 Thanos

There doesn’t seem any way that Thanos would have a major role in a TV series, but you can’t rule out cameo appearances from him, especially since cameos were all he did until Avengers: Infinity War. With Thanos being Vision’s killer, and a sworn enemy of Wanda, he would be the cameo to beat all others.

Ideally, Thanos’ appearance should be when Wanda comes to the realization that Vision really has passed away, but since we don’t know exactly what the show’s plot is, Thanos could simply make an appearance in flashbacks. Either way, Thanos’ presence is something that makes complete sense.

2 Quicksilver

He has to show up, right? At least that’s what pretty much everyone has been clamoring for ever since WandaVision’s announcement was made. With Pietro only having one appearance thus far in the MCU, there’s a whole lot of storyline missing where he and his sister are concerned.

Now that we’re set to have an insight into the mind of Wanda, we’d like to see what her brother meant to her. Her reality-altering powers should conjure up some form of Pietro, and considering she was last seen being very lonely; we could see Pietro show up as anything from a hallucination, in flashbacks, or even resurrected.

1 Speed And Wiccan

We’ll be diving into the comics for this one, and while this is technically two characters instead of one, there might not be a perfect duo for WandaVision. Comic book fans will know that Speed and Wiccan happen to be the twin children of Scarlet Witch and Vision.

As the premise of the series is meant to be a sitcom of sorts set in a suburban neighborhood, what better way to drive home this setting than having the characters’ children on the show? Nothing says “family” more than actual family from comic book canon, and WandaVision is placed just right to have Speed and Wiccan make their debut.
