Warning: Minor SPOILERS Ahead for Loki episode 5, “Journey Into Mystery”

New fan art crossing the worlds of Pixar’s Luca and Marvel’s Loki sees Time Variance Authority agent Mobius living out his dream of riding a jet ski. The latest Marvel Cinematic Universe series centers on Tom Hiddleston’s 2012 god of mischief being apprehended by the TVA after escaping with the Tesseract during Avengers: Endgame’s time heist and recruited to help hunt down a variant killing off TVA agents. However, his journey will see him meet multiple variations of himself and a whole new realm of possibilities.

With most of the series already having aired, fans have connected to a number of moments and characters in Loki, namely that of Owen Wilson’s Mobius and Sophia Di Martino’s Sylvie. After keeping the trio mostly apart throughout the action, this week’s episode saw Loki, Mobius, and Sylvie united in the dimension at the end of Time known as The Void. Now that the three protagonists are together for the high-stakes action of the final chapters of season 1, some are sharing their love for the group in creative manners.

On the heels of the latest episode’s arrival on the streaming platform, artist Lyle_Style took to Instagram to share their latest work crossing over Disney+’s Luca and Loki. In addition to featuring Mobius, Loki, and Sylvie drawn in the style of the Pixar film, the art sees Wilson’s beloved TVA agent getting to fulfill his dream of riding a jet ski. Of all the worlds to see mixed with Disney+’s Loki, it’s really a testament to the artist’s creativity to blend it with Luca. Though the film’s coastal Italian setting and central character group does open the door for such a crossover, the more surreal nature of the series does feel more of an invitation for melding with Rick and Morty or the early works of filmmaker Terry Gilliam. But to see how the Marvel characters could live in a world as bright and rich as the latest Pixar project is really a treat to fans of both studios.

The crossover art also brings the added bonus of getting to finally see Mobius get to ride that jet ski that audiences discovered he dreamed about in episode 2 of Loki. With many questions still lingering going into next week’s season finale, it sadly seems unlikely the moment will come to be in live-action, but given a season 2 is currently in development, one should never rule it out. For the time being, fans can catch up with the first five episodes of Loki and Pixar’s Luca on Disney+ now.
