Nintendo Switch Year in Review offers a personal look back at the games players have been enjoying the most this year, in a similar way to the popular Spotify Wrapped annual summary.

2021 has been a good year for Nintendo fans, with a host of AAA and indie releases joining the platform throughout the last 12 months. The year started off strong with the release of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, which impressed users with its creative play and characters. Shin Megami Tensei V has been another stand-out game of the year, introducing fresh takes to the classic series. There’s also been a number of staple Nintendo names hitting store shelves, including Pokémon Snap, Mario Party Superstars, and the recently-released Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, which add new features to the original Pokémon BDSP games.

As revealed by Nintendo, Switch players in select regions can access their Year in Review 2021 right now to discover how many hours they’ve spent on what games. The Year in Review looks at Play Activity throughout the year, showing the user their most-played games, how many hours they’ve spent playing on Switch, how many new games they started, and more. While 2021 has been a big year for Nintendo Switch, there’s set to be a few games more popular than others.
