Viewers weren’t the only ones celebrating the release of a new trailer for Disney+’s Obi-Wan Kenobi — actor Kumail Nanjiani was also pleased to see himself in a galaxy far, far away.

The Eternals actor quote tweeted the trailer from the official Obi-Wan Kenobi Twitter account and added a short comment that summed up how seeing himself in the Star Wars universe made him feel. “This is the first time it feels real,” Nanjiani wrote of his role in the show. “I’m in Star Wars.”

Nanjiani’s appearance in the trailer is fleeting, as he is only seen on screen for roughly a second. His role in Obi-Wan Kenobi is currently unknown — Lucasfilm and Disney have yet to release any details about his character or his relation to the plot. Even the character’s name is being kept closely under wraps.

Obi-Wan Kenobi sees Ewan McGregor reprise the title role for the first time since 2005’s Revenge of the Sith. The six-episode limited series is set roughly 10 years after the events of Episode III and promises to fill in some of the gaps of what happened in Kenobi’s life between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. The new trailer focused heavily on the Inquisitors, a group of dark side Force users tasked by the Empire to hunt down any Jedi that survived Order 66, including Obi-Wan.

Fellow iconic Star Wars actor Hayden Christensen will also be returning once again, stepping into the iconic costume of Darth Vader. Although McGregor and Christensen shared many scenes together during Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, none of them featured Christensen dressed as Vader. For McGregor, standing across from Vader for the first time was a frightening experience. “I turned around, and fucking Darth Vader was coming at me. It was like I was six again. I’d never acted into Vader’s helmet. I’d never looked him in the eye,” the actor said, adding that it “scared the s–t out of [him].”

Also confirmed to return for Obi-Wan Kenobi are Joel Edgerton and Bonnie Piesse as Owen and Beru Lars, respectively. Series director and showrunner Deborah Chow recently promised that fans can expect even more cameos from known characters. “One of the things I was trying to do with this series was to have the legacy, and who is important in Obi-Wan’s life, and to also have some new characters,” she said. “So it’s going to be a mixture of the two.”

The first two episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi will hit Disney+ on May 27.
