Official GTA Trilogy GIFs Include Remastered San Andreas Meme

In celebration of the upcoming GTA trilogy remaster, Rockstar has released a collection of remastered GIFs and stickers from all three games.

In celebration of the upcoming release of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, Rockstar Games has released a collection of iconic moments from across all the three games as GIFS, including the popular Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas “here we go again” meme that users can use freely on social media. Players can already download the GTA trilogy remaster before the long-anticipated remaster collection simultaneously launches worldwide on last-generation and current-generation platforms on November 11.

The Grand Theft Auto trilogy remaster is set to include touch-ups of the three PS2 series titles – Grand Theft Auto: 3, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. The games will have higher-resolution textures, greater draw distances, revamped lighting, weather effects, and modernized gameplay with controls mirroring that of Grand Theft Auto V. Additionally, each platform version of the GTA remaster trilogy will be slightly different from the other. The PC version will feature Nvidia DLSS support, which boosts frame rates and picture clarity, while the PlayStation and Xbox Series X/S versions can run at 4K and 60 FPS. Meanwhile, the Nintendo Switch port will be locked to 30 FPS – along with the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions – but the Switch will support gyro aiming and its touchscreen can be used to navigate menus.

Officially announced on Twitter, Rockstar Games revealed it is celebrating the upcoming release of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition by uploading images and GIFs of “iconic moments” across the three games to its GIPHY page. Fans can use the hashtag “#gtatrilogy” on Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok, and numerous other social media websites and pick from a wide collection of graphics from each game in the collection. This includes stickers, official artwork, and remastered gameplay GIFs – such as CJ’s iconic “here we go again” line at the beginning of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, which is known as a popular Internet meme.

While no footage or screenshots were publicly revealed until its trailer, numerous leaks suggested that the Grand Theft Auto remaster collection would amount to its speculated standards. Similarly, the leaked achievement list for the GTA trilogy remaster also makes a nod to the popular San Andreas meme, requiring players to start a new save after earning 100% completion. Overall the remaster collection will include 135 achievements, with new ones referencing popular culture, Rockstar’s history, and nods from the famed developer’s game roster.

Although the stickers and GIFs are a nice touch, fans won’t have to solely occupy their time with those celebratory features for too long, seeing as Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition’s release is around the corner. The game will launch in just two days, and GTA players will finally see whether the remaster meets their expectations.

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition will be available for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on November 11, 2021, and it will launch on iOS and Android in H1 2022.
