World renowned fashion company Gucci has recently released a new Fall line of clothing titled “Fake/Not,” and with that release has come a new marketing campaign bound to delight manga and anime fans around the globe. The company has teamed up with Eiichiro Oda to create a lookbook full of One Piece characters rocking the new Gucci gear.

Coming hot off the One Piece and Kappa clothing collaboration, Monkey D. Luffy is quickly becoming quite the fashion icon, which is a tad ironic when one considers the simplicity of his normal outfit. From Kappa to Gucci, this Straw Hat Pirate sure is getting around, and now he is dressed to impress in a wide array of Gucci clothing. While the Kappa line was an actual clothing collaboration with the characters of the show being mashed up with the brand for different shirts and hoodies, this is simply a series of illustrations of the characters IN the newest line of Gucci clothes.

The lookbook, illustrated by the series creator himself, features both Monkey D. Luffy and Roronoa Zoro sporting poses as if they are the hottest models in Japan right now, with a series of images of the two rocking the latest Gucci line. Check them out below:

So far eight images of this bizarrely awesome collaboration have been made available, included in an issue of ELLEMEN China. Five being focused around the main man Monkey D. Luffy, and the other three around Roronoa Zoro. Each image sports one of the two characters rocking an entirely different outfit, showing off the wide range of this new Fall “Fake/Not” line. From various handbags to backpacks, sweatshirts to trench coats, these two swashbucklers are dripping head to toe in absolute swag.

The best part of this whole lookbook is that, despite how weird it may sound in concept, it actually looks really awesome. Due in large part to Oda’s amazing skill, the design of the characters just seems to work, even though they feature a bunch of unruly pirates dawning designer clothes, too nice to ever risk wearing on the open seas. The images seriously teeter on breathtaking, leaving fans to no longer wonder what would have happened if Luffy had pursued a career in modeling as opposed to hunting the One Piece treasure.

Oda really did an amazing job at finding that middle ground between capturing the essence of each of the iconic One Piece characters while still maintaining the look of a high-end clothing advertisement. This One Piece and Gucci collaboration is by far one of the coolest manga/anime and clothing mashups to date.
