Albedo is a prominent character in Overlord, a web novel that has also been adapted into a light novel, manga, and anime. She serves as the Overseer of the Great Tomb’s Guardians, managing and supervising the Floor Guardians. Believing the game to be shut down, she was programmed to fall in obsessively love with Ainz, formerly known as Momonga, as a joke.
She goes on to become Ainz’s self-proclaimed wife and obsesses with him accepting her love. Her wings and pure white dress are a little misleading: she’s a succubus dressed like an angel. And when it comes to demons, often the most alluring tend to be the ones to really be afraid of. After all, it’s implied that’s not her true form. Because of the change in style, more details have been added to Albedo’s appearance, from the ruffles on her dress to her horns’ lines.

There are different ways the picture can be interpreted. The skull can represent Ainz, a reminder of the one she loves. It’s also possible that the skull indeed belongs to Ainz, who has met some unfortunate happenings.

Carrying herself like a bride, her wings follow behind her, almost like a wedding train, as her feathers fly around her.
It makes sense that she’d be a bride: she is already dressed in white after all. That said, Albedo has a shy, dreamy look on her face, as if this is merely her imagining things to comeーnot that brides can’t be nervous on their wedding day.
