In the very near future, an all-new Rocket League update will cross over with the intriguing world of James Bond, allowing players to race across the pitch in 007’s iconic 1963 Aston Martin DB5. This union means most major vehicles in popular culture have entered Rocket League’s arena at some point.

Previously, developer Psyonix has partnered with several brands to give players of the popular supersonic title plenty of variety. The Summer Road Trip event that kicked off on July 1 reinstated a host of well-known rides, including the likes of the Jurassic World Jeep, Back to the Future’s DeLorean, and K.I.T.T. of Knight Rider fame. Psyonix transformed a few vehicles from the Fast & Furious franchise into battle-cars, too. And Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’s version of the Batmobile appeared in a Rocket League car pack of its own in early 2016. Now it’s time for another famous set of wheels to join the high-octane sports adventure.

Come July 29, the Rocket League Item Shop will add James Bond’s famous 1963 Aston Martin DB5 for 1,100 Credits. Coated in the classic Silver Birch paint finish, the Aston Martin DB5 will come equipped with an Octane hitbox and rocket boost capabilities. Players who grab the bundle can also expect to hear the rumble of unique engine audio. Other items include a Reel Life Decal and 007’s Aston Martin DB5 wheels. As is often the case with Rocket League’s crossover bundles, the Aston Martin items can only be applied to their assigned vehicle. And while the James Bond content will remain accessible for a limited period of time, a post on the Rocket League website boasts the following tease: “Bond will declassify more of his garage later this year.”

Neither the above trailer nor the blog post specify when exactly the 007 Aston Martin car pack will leave Rocket League’s Item Shop. As such, fans interested in accessing the content would do well to make their purchase as soon as possible once the update goes live.

Originally released on PC and PlayStation 5 in the summer of 2015, Rocket League has changed quite a bit in the years since its debut. Notably, Rocket League adopted the free-to-play model about a year ago, opening the thrilling soccer-like experience to a wider audience.
