Hit PlayStation 5 game Spider-Man: Miles Morales managed to win the hearts of players not only for its incredible story and gameplay but also for a furry friend. When players complete Spider-Man: Miles Morales, they can unlock a special suit that gives them a backpack with a bodega cat that attacks enemies during finishing moves. Sideshow Collectibles has revealed a new Hot Toys figure that depicts the beloved costume, including Spider-Cat.

There’s no shortage of great Spider-Man statues out there, but the Miles Morales line is incredibly special. Spider-Man: Miles Morales has tons of suits, ranging from the iconic black and red suit to a futuristic, techno costume, but only one suit features a cat. The bodega cat dons a very special Spider-Man mask and has developed lots of fans due to his close partnership with Miles Morales. Many have fallen in love with the cat and hope to see him in future appearances, but Hot Toys has found a way to memorialize Spider-Cat.

Sideshow Collectibles revealed a new Spider-Man: Miles Morales figure features the bodega cat suit. The statue features Miles in an action pose with a hoodie, headphones, and a backpack to carry his feline ally around. The suit is missing Miles’ signature Adidas from the game, but it’s likely a licensing issue, Miles wears more generic shoes on instead. Other accessories will likely be available in the final product, as Hot Toys typically has interchangeable pieces. There’s currently no price or release date for the statue, but more details are expected soon.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales was a best-selling title for the last several months for PlayStation 5 owners. The cross-gen game has been one of the few massive exclusives for the new console, so it’s been an obvious buy for early adopters of Sony’s new console. With millions of copies having been sold, there’s no doubt been a lot of new-found fans of “Spider-Cat.”

A sequel is highly expected to arrive in the next few years, but developer Insomniac has yet to confirm that quite yet. Regardless, it seems Insomniac is still giving plenty of support to the current game. The most recent update added a new suit and muscle deformation in Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Whether or not new suits will arrive later this year to tie into the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home remains to be seen, but it’s nice to see free content being added as more players get the chance to play it on PlayStation 5.
