Star Wars: Visions – The 10 Most Powerful Characters

From freezing blaster bolts and lightsabers in midair to cutting a Star Destroyer in half, Star Wars: Visions’ characters perform many powerful feats.

The refreshing anthology anime series Star Wars: Visions introduced fans to a wide range of new and powerful characters. While each episode features a different story and different characters, every episode features at least one Jedi character, and most of them feature Sith and dark side users as well.

From freezing blaster bolts and lightsabers in midair to cutting a Star Destroyer in half, these characters perform many impressive feats that can only be accomplished through the Force. Some of these characters are coming into their power for the first time while others are veterans at wielding their abilities against their foes.

10 TO-B1

The innocent and naive TO-B1 might not come to mind when thinking of Visions’ most powerful characters, but his accomplishments by the end of his episode prove that he is powerful. He figures out how to finish the work of Jedi Professor Mitaka and brings life back to a planet that lost all life. When the Sith Inquisitor returns to the planet, TO-B1 defeats him.

TO-B1 gets some help from his droid friends and a Force vision pep talk from Professor Mitaka, but he is the one who shows that he has the power within him to use the Force and his lightsaber to best the fearsome Inquisitor. Bringing life back to a dead planet and defeating a Sith Inquisitor shows that he is powerful, no matter how naive and inexperienced he is.

9 Lah Kara

Even though Kara has no training in the Force and little experience in lightsaber combat, she rises to the occasion and demonstrates enormous potential in Star Wars: Visions’ best episode “The Ninth Jedi.” She evades the agents of the Sith sent after her and prevents them from stealing the lightsabers she’s been tasked with delivering to Margrave Juro. When they shoot at her, she uses her lightsaber to deflect the blaster bolts and she slices through the transport as it hurtles toward her.

After Kara delivers the lightsabers and is confronted with the Sith acolytes, she holds her own against them and her lightsaber turns green. If Kara is able to accomplish all of this with no training or experience, there’s no telling what she would be able to do after being trained by Juro. She is clearly only getting started on her path as a Jedi.

8 F

F in “The Village Bride” uses her Jedi abilities to save a village from merciless raiders. When the raiders’ leader Lord Izuma tries to shoot the village chief’s granddaughter, Saku, F is able to freeze the blaster bolt in midair by using the Force. She saves Saku’s life and sends the blaster bolt back at Izuma.

When Izuma takes Saku’s sister Haru hostage, F ignites her lightsaber and uses her lightsaber to swiftly kill Izuma without any harm coming to Haru. In true Jedi fashion, she reveals herself and her abilities to help those in need and she only wields the power that is necessary to save the innocent villagers. The abilities shown are impressive. Since she has been in hiding and only does what is necessary to save others, these are likely only a fraction of her abilities.

7 The Sith Bandit Leader

The Sith bandit leader wastes little time as she kills the village’s heavily-armed sentries with ease. These sentries and their firepower took down many of the bandits, but the sentries are no match for the Sith bandit leader. The Ronin provides more of a challenge for her, but she is still able to go toe-to-toe with him in lightsaber combat while balancing atop a floating log headed toward a waterfall.

When Ronin’s droid is repaired and launches whistling birds at the bandits, she strikes down the rocket while keeping her balance on the log, and forces Ronin off the log and down the waterfall. The Ronin ultimately defeats the Sith bandit leader because he outsmarts her, but her power in the Force is just as strong as his.

6 Tajin Crosser

The Elder senses the presence of someone strong in the Force and is delighted to face such a formidable opponent. That someone is Jedi Master Tajin Crosser. Tajin quickly disarms the Elder of one of his lightsabers. He is also able to deflect the Elder’s Force lightning and defeat him in combat, plunging a lightsaber through his chest.

Beyond these abilities, Tajin demonstrates power through his wisdom. He understands that it was time that ultimately defeated the Elder and that no matter how powerful someone becomes, that power will not last forever. Tajinn sees that power is important because it can be used to protect and help others, but also that power is impermanent. Ironically, understanding the limits of power makes him more powerful.

5 The Ronin

The mysterious Ronin demonstrates some of his powerful abilities in his fight against the Sith bandit leader in “The Duel.” When she tries to strike him down with her lightsaber, he uses the Force to freeze her and her lightsaber in midair.

While balancing atop a floating log, he holds his own against her. He lets her think she has the upper hand, but it’s all part of his plan, which culminates in him deceiving and killing her, and saving the village from the bandits.

4 Am

Consumed by the dark side, Am displays a range of terrifying powers in her fight against Karre in “The Twins.” When Karre’s droid R-DUO fires on her with the signature Star Wars ship the X-Wing, she generates a protective bubble that shields her and her loyal droid B-20N from the attack. When Karre tries to escape in the X-Wing with the kyber crystal, she uses the Force to drag the X-Wing back, pulling both Karre and the kyber crystal from the ship.

When the kyber crystal is joined with her suit, she has six far-reaching lightsaber whips and sends her brother careening into space. Am’s power is undeniable, but the power almost consumes and destroys her. Her inability to ultimately control her power prevents her from being Visions’ most powerful dark side user.

3 Karre

Karre’s powers become gradually more impressive throughout “The Twins” episode. When one of the most dangerous types of Stormtroopers tries to stun him, he uses the Force to send the stuns back at them. When he faces Am, he uses his lone lightsaber to stop Am’s six lightsaber whips from hurting him. He then tops all of this by cutting the giant Gemini-class Star Destroyer in half while riding atop his X-Wing and separating Am from the kyber crystal powering her suit in one fell swoop.

Karre’s incredible power may stem from the fact that he can draw from the light and dark sides of the Force. He spent most of his life learning how to wield the dark side, but he primarily wields the light in his fight against Am.

2 Margrave Juro

While they wait for him and the lightsabers they’ve been promised, the Sith acolytes in “The Ninth Jedi” have no idea that Margrave Juro is hiding in plain sight. His ability to remain undetected by the Sith acolytes is impressive, as is how swiftly he strikes down almost all of the Sith in lightsaber combat.

He is also able to deflect Force lightning and use the Force to send his enemies hurtling to their doom. Juro’s strengths in the Force and his ability to outsmart his opponents make him one of Visions’ most powerful Jedi and the perfect individual to rebuild the Jedi Order.

1 Masago

In the episode “Akakiri,” the Sith Lord Masago successfully manipulates Jedi Tsubaki into killing the woman he loves, Princess Misa. After Misa’s death, Masago offers to bring Misa back to life and protect her if Tsubaki becomes her Sith apprentice. The heartbroken and desperate Tsubaki agrees and together he and Masago are able to revive Misa.

Even though Tsubaki had visions warning him something like this would happen and warnings from his master, Masago is still able to manipulate him. Her ability to take the throne for herself, to defy death and resurrect the dead, and successfully convince a Jedi to join the dark side makes her Visions’ most powerful dark side user. Unlike most dark side users in Visions, she actually wins in the end.
