10 “All In” – 8.6/10
In the sixth episode of season 2, Mike and Harvey have to go to Atlantic City on short notice, after a situation arises. In the Royal Hall, there’s a ballet event and Louis meets Rachel there as both of them bond.
With Donna out of the firm, it’s only fair to expect weird behavior from Harvey and that is exactly what happens. In order to diffuse the situation, Jessica gives Harvey a new assistant, but she knows better than anyone else that Donna is irreplaceable.
9 “Blood In The Water” – 8.6/10
In the 12th episode of season 2, the battle with Daniel Hardman is over, but with the firm as vulnerable as ever, Harvey must find ways to keep his top clients to himself, especially with Allison Holt from Bratton Gould poaching them.
Elsewhere, Mike is offered a job from Bratton Gould, but as expected, he declined and instead put in a good word for the recently fired Harold. Furthermore, Harvey wants to become name partner.
8 “He’s Back” – 8.6/10
In the 14th episode of season 2, Daniel is back, only this time, he wants to destroy Pearson Hardman by bleeding them dry due to the lack of resources. Monica has filed a sexual harassment suit against Louis, with 45 other gender discrimination cases.
Harvey just cannot see a solution because whatever option they decide to pursue, it will only end with Pearson Hardman becoming broke. But with Harvey by your side, you cannot lose without putting up a fight.
7 “Rewind” – 8.7/10
The eighth of season 2 gives the characters some background as we head in the past, taking a look at Harvey, Louis, and Jessica while they were younger and less experienced.
Looking at it, one can understand why Harvey, the lawyer, developed a “win at all costs” mentality and why Louis always seems to take little things personally. Also, this episode reveals exactly who and what Daniel Hardman really is.
6 “Break Point” – 8.9/10
In the fifth episode of season 2, Harvey hands an important case to Mike, in which he has to come to the aid of a tennis player called Marco Mendoza. Later, Donna attempts something that could put her future in jeopardy, which leads to a fight between her and Harvey.
Daniel and Jessica have a decision to make – whether to protect the identity of the firm or fire their best lawyer, which would cause everything to go haywire.
5 “Asterisk” – 8.9/10
In the ninth episode of season 2, Daniel is doing all he can to secure votes in his favor and thus, he promotes Louis to Senior Partner to gain his trust, even though, five years ago, Daniel tried to make Louis take the fall.
After recognizing this, Jessica wants Harvey to bring Louis back into their favor, but the latter isn’t budging. Elsewhere, Donna returns by Harvey’s side in one of the best moments of the season so far.
4 “War” – 8.9/10
In the season 2 finale, it’s a battle between Dana Scott and Harvey, as Jessica’s decision to merge with Darby International hasn’t gone down well with Harvey. The context of this battle – if Harvey wins, he ends up becoming name partner and if he loses, he will expect whatever consequences come his way.
Towards the end of the episode, an unexpected scene takes place as Mike finally reveals the truth to Rachel.
3 “She Knows” – 9.1/10
The first episode of season 2 continues right where the season 1 finale left the viewers. Jessica knows about Mike, but she calls him for dinner and although Mike is oblivious to the fact that she discovered his secret, he is later told by Jenny.
Also, at the same time, Harvey is told to fire Mike or else Jessica will. This episode tells exactly how close Mike and Harvey have become, as the latter just couldn’t manage to say the words.
2 “Sucker Punch” – 9.2/10
The seventh episode of season succeeds in displaying the tension surrounding Pearson Hardman, with Donna and Harvey in the center of all the action. Again, Harvey is up against Travis Tanner, only this time, his enemy is more motivated.
It’s scintillating to watch Harvey go through different emotions because Donna is under the scanner. The mock trial is simply breathtaking to watch, with Louis impersonating Tanner.
1 “High Noon” – 9.3/10
The 10th episode of season 2 is sad, fast, and highly emotional. Daniel has won the vote and become the new Managing Partner of Pearson Hardman, but Harvey isn’t losing like this. He goes to Mike for help and they end up getting high, which results in a drug test and Harvey getting fired.
Also, Mike and Harvey figure out the fact that Hardman could have been the one who planted the memo so that Donna could do exactly what she did.
