Jenelle Evans and David Eason’s relationship has been rocky almost from the start. Evans had shown her life and relationships on MTV’s 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom 2 since she was a teenager. Recently, Evans announced her split from David Eason, her husband of two years. The announcement came after several months of escalating domestic problems between the couple.

Evans has three children: Jace, 10, with Andrew Lewis; Kaiser, 5, with Nathan Griffith; and Ensley, 2, with Eason. Eason has two other children from previous relationships. Evans and Eason Meet: After splitting from Griffith, her then-fiancé, Evans met Eason on Tinder in September 2015. That month, she posted their first picture together on Instagram.

Evans Announces Pregnancy: In August 2016, Evans announced she was pregnant via Instagram. Evans and Eason’s daughter, Ensley, was born in January 2017.

Moving Forward: In February 2017, Evans and Eason got engaged. In March 2017, Evans and Eason bough a home in North Carolina. In September 2017, Evans and Eason were married at their home in NC.

Evans Makes 911 Call: In October 2018, Evans called 911 after an alleged physical assault with Eason. Evans told the 911 operator that Eason pinned her down in the yard, stating, “I think I heard my collarbone crack. I can’t move my arm.” Evans told the operator that she thought Eason became violent because he’d been drinking. Police arrived and Evans went to the hospital, but she didn’t file a police report or press charges. Less than a week later, Evans told E! that the whole event was a misunderstanding and that their relationship is great.

Social Media Proof: In what proved to be a temporary move, Evans updated her status to “single” on Facebook in February 2019. Showing followers that their relationship was seemingly OK, Eason posted a photo of Evans in a bikini on Instagram in April 2019.

Eason Shoots and Kills Evans’ Dog: Near the beginning of May 2019, Eason shot and killed Evan’s French bulldog, Nugget, claiming that the dog bit their daughter, Ensley, and that killing the dog was the best option. Evans lost her job on Teen Mom 2 and temporarily lost custody of her children. In July 2019, Evans and Eason regained custody of their children.

Cheating Allegations: According to the restraining order, Jenelle traveled out of town for business in October 2019 and did not tell Eason. Eason sent Evans a picture of an unidentified man who he said she was cheating on him with. He said he’ll make Evans regret leaving him and that he’ll hurt the man in the picture.

Evans and Eason Split: On October 31, 2019, Evans announced that she was splitting from Eason and that papers had been filed to start divorce proceedings. She also filed a temporary restraining order for her and her children.

As Evans and Eason’s tumultuous relationship comes to a close, it’s likely that the drama will continue. Evans has a history of rocky relationships, and Eason has a turbulent history himself. Since Evans and Eason share a child, it won’t be easy to simply divorce and walk away from one another. Some fans even wonder if the situation is a publicity stunt so Evans can regain her job with MTV.
