The Bachelorette Why Michelle Was Wrong To Send Joe Home

On a recent episode of The Bachelorette, Michelle Young sent Joe Coleman home, and she may have said goodbye to the perfect man for her. The former contestant had a lot of the qualities that she’s looking for, and Michelle and Joe seemed like a good match. Joe definitely had deep feelings for her, so the Bachelorette could have made a mistake by sending him home.

Joe and Michelle bonded quickly at the beginning of the season, as both are former basketball players. The two know what it’s like to feel pressure to be the best at something. Hometowns also went very well for Joe, and it seemed like Michelle got along well with his family. However, in the Fantasy Suites episode, Michelle commented that her relationship with Joe has moved slower than her relationship with the other two men. When Michelle sent Joe home at the rose ceremony, Joe was obviously heartbroken, and it was clearly a difficult decision for Michelle as well.

Many viewers were shocked when Joe didn’t get a rose during that episode because his relationship with Michelle seemed to be so strong. Although the two have different personalities, Joe pointed out during his overnight date that he and Michelle balance each other out well, and bring out the best in each other. There are also many similarities between Michelle and Joe that would make it easy for them to start a life together in Minnesota. Michelle has commented that Joe reminds her of her dad, and she’s also said that she wants a partner who shares her father’s good qualities.

Michelle obviously feels like she has a closer connection to her remaining men, including Nayte Olukoya and Brandon Jones, but viewers have their concerns. There are many who still get player vibes from Nayte. They are suspicious of his motives for being on the show, and they think Michelle may have sent home a sure thing for a wild card. Michelle had to pull Nayte’s true feelings out of him during their overnight, while Joe offered his up more freely. Overall, Joe seems like a good guy, and viewers were more confident that he was there for the right reasons than they were with Nayte.

Of course, who Michelle gives her roses to (and spends her life with) is ultimately her decision. A lot of what Michelle sees and does with Joe, Nayte, and the other men isn’t shown on the show. Therefore, there’s no way to get a complete picture of what Michelle is going through, or fully understand her connections with each of the men. Michelle is a smart woman who knows what she wants in life, and what she wants from a partner. It’s up to her to decide who the right man for her is, regardless of whom fans think she should choose.

Viewers may think Michelle shouldn’t have sent Joe home, but it’s not their decision to make. It’s true that The Bachelorette contestant seemed like a catch to a lot of fans, and his compatibility with Michelle led plenty of viewers to think that he would win the season. However, Michelle knows what’s best for her, and hopefully, she won’t regret her decision.
