The Hills alum Lauren Conrad and her husband William Tell have welcome their second child into the world. The couple also share two-year-old son Liam together, who was born in July 2017.

Conrad rose to fame at the beginning of the reality TV era when she was cast on the show Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County back in 2004, which led to her being cast on the original version of The Hills in 2006. The spin-off series followed the lives of Conrad, her then-housemate Heidi Montag, as well as their friends Audrina Patridge, Whitney Port and many other familiar faces, who all lived in Los Angeles The fashion designer left the show after its fourth season to pursue other career options, which now includes two fashion lines, multiple New York Times bestsellers, as well as the podcast Asking for a Friend, amongst other endeavors. Outside of her successes in business, Conrad found love with her now-husband Tell, whom she wed in September 2014 after two years together. Three years after they married, their family grew by one when their son William “Liam” James was born, but now they’ve added another member to their family, taking them from a trio to a quartet.

Conrad announced on her Instagram (via Us) that she and her husband have welcomed their second child, writing simply, “Our sweet baby boy, Charlie Wolf Tell, has arrived!” along with an illustration of the author and her family, including the new addition. Conrad took to her Instagram in April 2019 to announce her pregnancy, at the time writing “it’s been hard to keep this one to myself!” The 33-year-old has openly spoke about the ups and downs of motherhood, including on an episode of her podcast Asking for a Friend when she discussed her struggles with breastfeeding her son Liam, and how “ashamed” it made her feel because she felt “like a bad mom.” Conrad has also talked on her podcast about her transition into parenthood when her first child was born because “this little tiny person is now my boss and tells me when I’m going to sleep and when I’m going to eat,” and that it took some serious adjustments. She added that it took nearly a year before she started “feeling normal.” Conrad and her husband have yet to share photos of baby Charlie to their social media, but the reality TV personality often shares cute, Pinterest-worthy pics of her son Liam, so fans likely won’t have to wait too long before we get that first glimpse. Though Conrad turned down the opportunity, many of her former Laguna Beach or The Hills co-stars are involved in the MTV reboot The Hills: New Beginnings, including Montag and her husband Spencer Pratt, Patridge, Port, and Stephanie Pratt, as well as Brody Jenner and ex-wife Kaitlynn Carter. Conrad never gave an official statement as to why she wasn’t participating in the reboot, but it didn’t come as a shock to fans considering she has spoken many times about the negative toll the show took on her, and how the producers manipulated the cast members of the show. The door is never completely closed in the realm of reality TV, but it’s hard to imagine Conrad ever returning for any season of The Hills: New Beginnings.

Conrad was one of the original reality TV personalities, and though it’s common for those personalities to fade into the background after their 15 minutes of fame, the mom-of-two has managed to stay relevant and successful for over a decade in her industry. Her former co-stars have their own business endeavors and children to look after and have managed to make room for The Hills reboot in their lives, but it doesn’t seem like Conrad will be opening her home to host a camera crew in the future. Instead, she’ll be focusing on running the show at home while taking care of the new addition to her family.
