The Office Pam’s 5 Best (& 5 Worst) Outfits

If there’s one character on The Office who had a major glow up, it was Miss Pam Beesly. She went from a quiet and reserved receptionist to a young woman who found her voice and her passion.

Although Pam started to speak up for herself after breaking things off with Roy, her fashion sense didn’t immediately find its path until much later. Pam has always been a conservative and office-appropriate dresser but not every outfit hit the ball out of the park. Let’s take a look at some of Pam’s greatest outfit moments along with some of her worst.

10 Best: Chic In “Surplus”

The Office Pam’s 5 Best (& 5 Worst) Outfits

In the episode “The Surplus,” Pam is wearing a pastel blue sweater with a teal top underneath. She had a thin matching neck scarf tied around her neck, which looked perfect with her red lipstick and loose curls.

In this episode, Michael has a surplus in his budget and has to decide whether to spend it on a copier or new chairs for the office. The office begins buttering Michael up to get their way, including Pam. Pam tied the scarf around her neck and put on red lipstick to lowkey flirt with Michael. She even called him “sexy tie guy!” Jim told her she looked “really pretty,” and he wasn’t wrong. Pam looks gorgeous.

9 Worst: Matching Phyllis In “Casual Friday”

The Office Pam’s 5 Best (& 5 Worst) Outfits

After Dunder Mifflin buys The Michael Scott Paper Company, the threesome comes back to the office to join their former co-workers. Surprisingly, Pam and Phyllis were wearing the same exact outfit: khaki capris, a plaid shirt, and a matching sweater.

As adorable as Phyllis looks, this look is a fail for Pam. Although it’s a casual day in the office, it’s unlike most of Pam’s outfits. It’s strange to see Pam in something so busy and it ages her a tad.

8 Best: Festive In “Benihana Christmas”

The Office Pam’s 5 Best (& 5 Worst) Outfits

“A Benihana Christmas” was a hard episode for Pam. Now that Jim was back in Scranton after being at Stamford, Pam thought their friendship would go back to what it was before he left. Sadly, he was dating Karen now and was separating himself from Pam.

He denied her Christmas gift (at first) and kept his distance from her on this day, which must have been difficult because Pam looked like a knockout. The red turtleneck, beige pencil skirt, red lipstick, and her hairstyle all look perfectly festive. It’s the perfect outfit for an office Christmas party.

7 Worst: Washed Out In “Basketball”

The Office Pam’s 5 Best (& 5 Worst) Outfits

Pam’s style in season one is similar to her style in later seasons but the colors aren’t as bright. In season one, Pam wore too many tones that were hushed. Browns, beiges, and whites flooded Pam’s closet but it washed her out.

In the episode “Basketball,” the office goes head to head with those in the warehouse for a basketball game. The winner had the weekend off while the losers had to work. Pam wore a brown pencil skirt and beige sweater to watch Roy and Jim go against each other but it didn’t do much for her figure. Her sweater was a similar color to her skin tone, which isn’t eye-popping enough.

6 Best: Belle Of The Ball In “Cafe Disco”

The Office Pam’s 5 Best (& 5 Worst) Outfits

In the episode “Cafe Disco,” Michael tries to bring the fun back to the office after Charles Miner left it frigid. He turns the downstairs closet into a “cafe” where people can unwind with an espresso and a dance party. At first, no one took the bait but when Phyllis feels inspired to dance, others follow suit. By the end of the episode, everyone is downstairs dancing and having a good time.

In this episode, Pam and Jim were supposed to elope but they decided to join their co-workers instead. Pam and Jim were dressed for their elopement with Pam wearing an adorable pink dress while holding yellow flowers that Jim picked for her.

5 Worst: Serious Business Woman

The Office Pam’s 5 Best (& 5 Worst) Outfits

It was a big moment when Pam came back to Dunder Mifflin as a saleswoman. This was a new start for Pam. Instead of being known as the receptionist, she would be starting a new career and portentously earning more money for her family with Jim. And as great as she looks in her new saleswoman persona, fans missed Pam’s pop of color.

She typically wears colorful sweaters and button-downs with her pencil skirts, but as a saleswoman, Pam opted for darker colors and blazers. Fans missed the old “Pammy.”

4 Best: Minty Green In “A.A.R.M”

In season nine, Pam and Jim started to show that they didn’t always have the perfect relationship. Jim’s job at Athlead was putting a serious strain on their relationship and Pam was left alone with the kids a lot. But in this particular episode, Pam thinks she’s holding Jim back from succeeding in life and has a minor meltdown.

Before Jim shows her the card he wrote for her from season two’s teapot, Pam is wearing a gorgeous mint sweater with a blue collared shirt. The colors look so beautiful with her hair color; she stands out from the other workers at Dunder Mifflin.

3 Worst: Dated In “Diversity Day”

The Office Pam’s 5 Best (& 5 Worst) Outfits

“Diversity Day” is an iconic episode in the series and has a lot of serious points of discussion. Aside from the stereotypical game they played, Pam’s outfit is a tad lackluster. Wearing a pinstriped button-down, the colors are bland on Pam.

At this point in the series, Pam was in her 20’s but dressed in such dated tops. It’s scenes like these that we miss her cute sweaters and soft undershirts.

2 Best: Sparkly In The Series Finale

The Office Pam’s 5 Best (& 5 Worst) Outfits

In one of the final moments of the series, Pam and Jim hang out with the rest of the Dunder Mifflin crew in the office before everyone jets off in different directions. It was a sweet moment for fans to see considering the show was coming to a close.

In this scene, Pam wore dark pants with a sparkly sweater and black undershirt. The sweater was a gorgeous upgrade from her normal cotton ones. It’s almost as if this sweater symbolized a new life outside of Dunder Mifflin and Scranton. She and Jim were moving on with their lives and we’re starting fresh in Austen.

1 Worst: Not So Fun On Beach Day

Did Pam look cute on Beach Day? Of course. But fans wanted a little more from Pam Beesly on a day in the sun with her friends and co-workers. She wore a pink tank top with jeans but was in the background the whole day taking notes for Michael.

She made a big deal about wearing a two-piece bathing suit but never once was anyone in their bathing suits. Pam’s style is very conservative and appropriate for all occasions but for a day like Beach Day, fans were hoping for more from Pam. Especially on a day where she felt so bold!
