Stephen Moyer is a British actor who logged his first screen credit in the 1993 sitcom Conjugal Rites. Four years later, he landed his first starring role in a motion picture by playing Prince Valiant for director Anthony Hickox. After honing his craft for the next decade on TV and in film, Moyer earned the role of a lifetime when cast as 173-year-old vampire Bill Compton in HBO’s hit series True Blood.

Moyer appeared in all 81 episodes of True Blood, which is currently being rebooted by HBO. However, the network has announced that the original cast members will unfortunately not reprise their roles in the upcoming reboot.
