After watching the latest episode of Vanderpump Rules, Lala Kent is admitting to projecting her own personal issues onto her castmates. Now with Lala living life as a single mom, she is getting the reality check she needed to take accountability for her mean girl behavior on the show. Over the course of season 9, Lala has been seen butting her nose into the love lives of her co-stars while boasting up her own image and family life with Randall Emmett. But with the couple parting ways last month, Lala is stuck having to watch old footage of when she had her “head in the sand.” She recently owned up to her mistakes and acknowledged what’s coming her way ahead of the season 9 reunion.

As Lala continues to adjust to life after Randall, she is coming to new realizations about herself. Lala has been under fire since season 9 premiered due to all the drama she’s been involved in. She’s passed judgment on Scheana Shay and her fiancé Brock Davies over his scarred relationship with his two kids from a previous relationship. Lala’s also been at odds with Tom Sandoval and has an ongoing feud with his girlfriend Ariana Madix. She also got into it with Raquel Leviss and Charli Burnett making Lala the top villain of season 9. As the reunion approaches, Lala knows that she will be put in the hot seat and she’s mentally preparing herself for what’s to come.

On the latest episode of the Give Them Lala podcast, Lala admitted to having her “head in the sand” when it came to her relationship with Randall and was projecting her own issues onto everyone else. “I was someone who thought I was in a very different position than I was in,” she said of her mindset during filming. She noted that she may have been “meddling in other people’s relationships” as a way to mask what she was battling in her own life. “All I know is a lot of things … that I meddled in, my comments didn’t age well, and I’m okay with that,” Lala said. When it comes to the upcoming reunion, she thinks the focus will be on all the pot stirring she did during the season. “I think a lot of it is going to be talking about that and having to answer for a lot of those things,” she said.

When it comes to her breakup with Randall, the Give Them Lala author is speaking more openly about the situation saying she left once she felt “unsafe” in the relationship. “The second that I felt unsafe — I said this in therapy — I said, ‘The second I get a pit in my stomach, it’ll be a different conversation,'” Lala said. “I got that pit and I got the f— out. No questions asked.” In the most recent episode, Lala is seen sitting down with Tom and talking about how much of a “ride or die” Randall was for her. “When Randall doesn’t have my back, he sleeps in another room,” Lala quipped. But little did she know, a few months later her man would be caught hanging out with mystery women in Nashville.

As a result of the scandal, Lala parted ways with the Hollywood filmmaker saying he was a “serial cheater” who would never change. Elsewhere in the podcast, Lala talked about her “bRand new” tattoo that she recently debuted on Instagram and has a merch line around. She credited it with being a “boss” move and a subtle response to moving on from her ex. As the Vanderpump Rules reunion inches closer, Lala is going to be put under the microscope and be forced to address all the drama she started and the fact that she’s single. Hopefully, for her sake, her co-stars decide to go easy on her.
