10 Scream 4- 6.1
Wes Craven’s last film before his death just barely makes it into his top 10 films. Scream 4 was released in 2015 and took place ten years after the events of Scream 3. Neve Campbell once again returns as Sidney Prescott and is joined by the likes of David Arquette, Courtney Cox, Kristen Bell, and Emma Roberts.
Scream 4 got mixed reviews upon its release, with many people complaining about the film still relying on horror movie clichés. That being said, most people agreed that Scream 4 was a significant improvement from Scream 3.
9 Scream 2- 6.2
After seeing the success of Scream in 1996, Wes Craven was quick to develop Scream 2 with Dimension Films just a year after the first film. Unfortunately for Craven and company, Scream 2 didn’t perform critically or financially as well as the original but was still seen as a box office success.

After moving away from the Scream franchise, Wes Craven directed a thriller called Red Eye, starring Rachel McAdams, Cillian Murphy, and Brian Cox. The film mainly takes place on an airplane, with a terrorist forcing a woman to assist in assassinating a politician.
Upon its release, Red Eye got mostly positive reviews, with fans and critics praising the acting of Murphy and McAdams. Red Eye was a unique film in Wes Craven’s filmography mainly because it moved away from the slasher genre and was more of a mystery thriller.
