Queer Eye is back in 2020 for a fifth season. The show, which oozes positivity, brings five rays of sunshine with it in the form of The Fab Five. Episode 5 of the season introduced us to Rahanna Gray. Given the year’s events so far, it’s safe to say that series 5 of the show is a welcome addition to Netflix.

Queer Eye season 5, episode 2 introduced viewers to 27-year-old Rahanna Gray who hails from Germantown, Pennsylvania. Rahanna’s mobile dog grooming company, Stylish Pooch, looks to have gone from strength to strength since the show. Stylish Pooch can be found on Instagram @_stylishpooch_. The Fab Five ensured that Rahanna’s business was taken to the next level, even holding a doggy fashion show as the episode’s finale. Rahanna’s business aims to “Add swag to your wag.” The pet company is now booming by the looks of her Instagram page. Since Queer Eye season 5 premiered, Stylish Pooch has gained worldwide recognition, the business has a huge following on IG of over 82,000.

Nominated by her parents, Jill and Kevin, Rahanna grew up around animals. She worked as a groomer at PetSmart for seven years and then decided to take her skills and launch her own mobile grooming business. Rahanna was working out of a 23-year-old RV, but after a few months of having the vehicle, the whole thing broke down, someone stole her generator and Rahanna lost a lot of clients from not being mobile. Rahanna said, “I feel like all I wanna do is just be a great business owner and I just always feel like there’s something in the way of that.” Bobby Berk asked of Rahanna’s RV, “Before she died, how successful was the business?” Rahanna replied, “I was booked out for weeks in advance, it was going really well.” With experience in being business owners, Tan France and Bobby let Rahanna know that any company starting out is going to have its struggles, Tan said, “The first five years are always a s***show.”

The episode saw the Fab Five use their strengths to enhance every part of Stylish Pooch, Antoni and Rahanna created healthy dog treats and Bobby and Tan took the reins when it came to Rahanna’s business, re-branding Stylish Pooch and creating marketing content with Vista Print. Her own dog, Bennie, is the face of the company, featuring on business cards, loyalty cards, the website and Rahanna’s new work van.

Not only did Rahanna have her fair share of things going wrong in her work life, but she also had dealt with infidelity in her relationship. Her boyfriend of 10 years, Josh, also appeared on the show and with the help of Karamo Brown, the couple had a heart to heart. Josh said, “She’s always been a go-getter type of woman. However, because of the business not going the way she wanted it to go and because of me hurting her, it just seemed like it was just a big hole she couldn’t really get out of.” Both Rahanna and Josh got emotional during the episode as Karamo unpacked the relationship and its effects, “After you told me that you had cheated, it started to connect the dots. That lack of trust here is playing into your ability at work.”

As always with Queer Eye, every aspect of Rahanna’s life was put under the microscope and everything from her business, to her appearance, her relationships, self-confidence and apartment was given a boost. The 27-year-old conquered her insecurities around her 6-foot-3 height during the show. Today, Rahanna’s blow-up bed has been swapped for a real one, her business propelled to the next level and her height embraced. As she outlined on her IG page, Rahanna is fully booked until August, which is a huge indicator that her business is doing really well since appearing on Queer Eye.
