Where to Find The Cozy Lodge in Fortnite Winterfest 2021

Winterfest 2021 is rewarding players with free XP for visiting the Cozy Lodge in Fortnite. Another holiday season means another event full of merriment and joy. A big push for chapter 3 is building up a player’s XP outside of the Battle Royale, and Epic Games is doing this by providing challenges to players that can be completed in alternative ways. During Winterfest, players will be able to collect presents every day by visiting Fortnite’s version of Santa Claus. Although, this is completely outside of the main game, it can be difficult to know where to look. For one of these Winterfest challenges, players will need to get warm by the fire in the cozy lodge.

The Cozy Lodge is a location that cannot be accessed on the map. Rather, from the main menu, players will notice a snowflake icon on the right side of the screen. It will be directly next to the ‘V-Bucks’ tab. Selecting it will bring players inside of the Cozy Lodge. Here, players will notice presents in the corner, Santa, and a fireplace. To complete this challenge, players will need to interact with this fire.

From within the Cozy Lodge, players are not able to directly highlight the fireplace. Rather, they will need to go over to Santa and highlight him first. After selecting him, players can then choose the fireplace. This will change the player’s perspective to directly face the fire. After a few seconds, the challenge will be completed. Fortunately, more Winterfest challenges are being added as the month goes by.

Winterfest 2021 Challenges and Rewards in Fortnite

For every day of Fortnite’s Winterfest 2021, players are able to pick a single present from the Cozy Lodge. This is the big reward for the Fortnite holiday event. Inside will reward players with various holiday-themed cosmetics for their avatars and weapons. Although, there is a cooldown. The player will need to wait until the next day to open the next gift. It can be easy to forget this is here since it’s separate from the main game mode, but it does contain valuable loot so keep that in mind when login in to play a match. Not every Winterfest 2021 challenge has been revealed just yet.

If players head into their Quest tab and scroll to the bottom, they will find the Winterfest tab. Here, players can keep track of what quests are currently active. The main tab will show how much time is remaining in the event. The goal is to clear out every Winterfest 2021 challenge before the event ends. It’s likely these free cosmetic items won’t return in the future.
