Where to Find The Dyna Hill Tree in Pokémon Crown Tundra (& What It’s For)

The Dyna Hill Tree is a new location present in the Pokemon: Crown Tundra. This guide will show where players can find it and why players should head in that direction as soon as possible. The Pokemon: Sword & Shield expansion pass has finally come to a close with the release of the Crown Tundra. This new icy location features over 100 older Pokemon from previous generations, new legendary Pokemon to encounter, a brand new Dynamax Adventure for multiplayer fun, and tons of hidden items and secrets to discover. The Dyna Hill Tree is one of the main locations in the Crown Tundra. This guide will show players how they can get there and why they should focus on getting there as soon as possible.

One of the biggest new additions is Galarian versions of the legendary bird trio from the Kanto region. Zapdos, Articuno, and Moltres have been iconic to the Pokemon series since the very beginning. Finding them hidden within an abandoned power plant or deep in a volcano gave Pokemon trainers such excitement with every encounter. Now with Pokemon Sword & Shield, these birds are back with new forms to reflect their new regions. Players will be able to find them in the Dyna Hill Tree. Here’s where players can find this location.

Where To Find The Dyna Hill Tree in the Pokemon: Crown Tundra DLC

The Dyna Hill Tree can be found at the very bottom of the map of the Crown Tundra. The player will need to cross the river under the Great Bed to access this location. The moment the player arrives, they will be greeted by a cutscene of the three Galarian legendary birds having a battle. The player spooks the Pokemon away from the tree and they scatter across different locations in the Galar region. Before leaving, players will be able to find the Brave Bird TR resting under the tree. Also, players can shake the tree for plenty of berries. Here’s where players can find each of the Galarian birds.

The Crown Tundra DLC is looking like the final piece of DLC for Pokemon: Sword & Shield. It is unlikely that the game will receive more content but rather conclude its story with the Crown Tundra. Game Freak will likely focus on making a new mainline title in the series or a remake for the fourth generation with Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. Regardless, the DLC has been a welcomed addition to the Pokemon series and will hopefully be how they release new content in the future.
