Jeffree Star has been surrounded by controversy ever since his days on MySpace. He has been called out in the past for making racist remarks. Recently, he found himself embroiled in drama with fellow YouTubers Tati Westbrook and James Charles. Jeffree has also been entangled in drama with the Kardashian-Jenner clan before after slamming Kylie Jenner’s lip glosses and throwing them in the trash. Now, it seems an influencer is making up rumors about Jeffree and the Kardashian-West family.

According to Insider, Ava Louise, who is famous for licking a toilet seat as part of a stunt for the “coronavirus challenge” on TikTok, revealed she made up the whole Kanye and Jeffree scandal. The rumors she started created quite the stir on social media Wednesday morning as reports of Kim and Kayne’s impending divorce were already circulating. Ava began the rumor on TikTok when she shared a video showing the Page Six article that first reported the couple’s imminent divorce. Ava then went on to share that she had been holding onto a piece of information “for months,” saying Kanye had been hooking up with a famous male beauty guru for a while now. Once the video was uploaded, the influencer proceeded to like comments insinuating she was talking about Jeffree. The rumor did seem logical, as they both have spent considerable time living in Wyoming recently.

Even though the rumor was quite shocking, it was also baseless. However, Jeffree also contributed to the speculation by jokingly referencing the rumor in a few social media posts. At the time, Ava was not able to provide enough evidence to back up her claim, and has since revealed that she fully made up the rumor. She even made a voice memo she reposted on TikTok revealing the rumor was created by her. “There is literally not one bit of truth to anything I have said,” Ava admitted in the memo. “I just tricked the entire world into talking about me again because I was on a lot of Adderall and bored.” She said she would have shared the memo herself, but people who she thought were her friends exposed Ava first. However, she continued to fan the flames of controversy by suggesting she was sued by Kris Jenner and Kim. She then shared a video of herself in a red hoodie, which may have been a reply to a fan asking her to wear red in her next video if Kris made her post the confession.

Ava is known for creating attention-grabbing content in order to bring fame to her TikTok channel. It is no surprise to TikTok users that she would spread a rumor like this.
