You Can Watch No Time To Die At Home Today

With No Time To Die now available to rent on digital platforms, you can watch the latest James Bond entry from the comfort of your own home starting today. The latest Bond film marks Daniel Craig’s last outing as the British superspy and sees him face off against Rami Malek’s villain character Safin. Appearing alongside Craig and Malek in the film are Léa Seydoux, Ana de Armas, Lashana Lynch, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, and Jeffrey Wright.

No Time To Die is the first in franchise history to be directed by an American, with True Detective and Beasts of No Nation director Cary Joji Fukunaga taking the reigns from Skyfall and Spectre director Sam Mendes. The film had a troubled road to its release in early October with Daniel Craig sustaining an on-set injury during production and numerous COVID-related delays pushing the film from its initial November 2019 release date. The film performed well at the box office, however, considering the circumstances, and has, since its release, earned close to $670 million globally.

As reported by Variety, No Time To Die will be available to rent in the U.S. on digital platforms starting today for a price of $19.99. The 007 film will be available to watch on all major platforms, including Apple, Amazon, Xfinity, DirecTV, Spectrum, and Vudu. Renting will provide viewers with a 48-hour window within which to watch the two-hour and forty-three-minute film.

In a pre-COVID world, the film would likely not yet be available for premium video-on-demand rental yet, but many audiences are evidently not yet comfortable going to their local theaters, which has detracted from the film’s box office pull. Traditionally, Bond audiences comprise a somewhat older demographic, a group of people more at risk for COVID and thus less likely to leave their homes to see a movie. For those fans that still want the No Time To Die theatrical experience, however, rest assured that the movie is not leaving cinemas just yet and is still in most major theaters across North America and Europe.

As has been demonstrated most recently with the release of Dune and its availability on-demand and in theaters simultaneously, No Time To Die’s PVOD release is unlikely to seriously affect the film’s continued box office performance. With the film marking Craig’s last outing as Bond, the future of the franchise is very much up in the air and it’s likely that catching No Time To Die either in the theater or renting it from home is the last audiences will be seeing of Bond for at least a few years. If you were unable to watch the latest 007 flick in the theater, tonight’s the night to rent No Time To Die and witness the end of a James Bond era.
