Pedro Pascal is everywhere lately between starring in The Mandalorian and buzz around his villainous role in the upcoming Wonder Woman 1984. He’s more known for his roles on television in Game of Thrones and Netflix’s Narcos.
Although his television resume is pretty iconic and growing still, he doesn’t have as much experience on the silver screen, but there seems to be a sudden influx of him appearing in more movies lately. Hopefully, we’ll see more movie roles for Pascal in the future. Right now, let’s revisit some of his greatest movies according to IMDb in preparation for a Pedro Pascal movie marathon!
10 The Great Wall (5.9)
This 2016 action-adventure fantasy, directed by Yimou Zhang, is rated at 5.9 by reviewers on IMDb. The story follows a group of Europeans, including the main character who at first is selfish and turns heroic (played by Matt Damon), who help defend The Great Wall of China against monsters.
The movie doesn’t have the best reviews, but there’s decent action, and Pedro Pascal has a good amount of screen time (many of the other movies on this list lack this).

This 2018 sci-fi thriller, directed by Christopher Caldwell and Zeek Earl, is rated at 6.2 by reviewers on IMDb. The film sees Pedro Pascal and his daughter (Sophie Thatcher) travel to a remote alien moon to harvest a rare type of gem located somewhere on the moon’s toxic surface.
When they arrive they find other not so friendly miners on the moon and the film quickly turns into survival of the fittest. The film has pretty good reviews despite the lower overall ranking, plus Pascal stars, so check it out!

This 2005 drama, directed by Julia Solomonoff, is rated at 6.4 by reviewers on IMDb. In the movie, two sisters are reunited in adulthood in the United States after being torn apart by the presence of an Argentinean dictatorship when they were in their twenties.
The movie has pretty good reviews, but Pedro Pascal doesn’t have much of a role.

It’s is a typical action-adventure movie with not many surprises, but it’s a fun crime-filled fun with a great cast and a lot of screentime for Pascal!

This 2018 action-filled crime thriller, directed by Antoine Fuqua, is rated at 6.7 by reviewers on IMDb. Pedro Pascal stars alongside Denzel Washington in the second film of The Equalizer franchise. Washington returns as the retired CIA operative that now spends his nights as a Lyft driver seeking out vigilante justice against any wrongdoing he comes across.
The consensus is that the second movie is a good continuation of the first, so if you enjoyed the first film and are a Pedro Pascal fan, give this movie a try!

Pedro Pascal is introduced as Kentucky accented Whiskey with an electric whip as a weapon. His character is part of United States Kingsman equivalent and he’s a welcomed addition to the franchise. It might not be as good as the first, but it’s still a fun watch and Pedro Pascal steals the show!

This movie sees a romance begin between the two main stars, but mysterious forces are determined to keep them apart. The two start on a journey against fate filled with action and sci-fi themes. Pedro Pascal has a minimal role in the movie, but overall it’s gotten good reviews.

This 2018 dramatic romance, directed by Barry Jenkins, is rated at 7.1 by reviewers on IMDb. The movie delves into difficult topics as we follow Fonny and Tish as Fonny is falsely accused of rape by racist cops. Tish is pregnant and she leans on her community as they fight the accusation against her childhood friend and lover.
The movie was very well received, even winning Regina King an Academy Award for her role. Pedro Pascal is a blip on the screen, but overall this movie has fantastic reviews and is worth a watch.

During the journey, she learns to appreciate nature and others as she begins to fall for her road trip companion, but he has secrets and issues of his own they need to overcome. It’s an interesting low budget movie that doesn’t have too much Pedro Pascal but is a fun watch!
