Based on the 2014 manga of the same name (occasionally also referred to by its original Japanese name Boku no Hero Academia) the first season of My Hero Academia aired in 2016 and quickly rose in popularity among both the domestic and international community as one of the most popular anime of the decade. The manga is far from coming to an end anytime soon and has already written its name in the list of one of the best selling manga ever with nearly 30 million copies sold.
Taking inspiration from many superhero-related media, the anime takes place in a fictional world where people are commonly born with superpowers. Izuku Midoriya is a boy who has always aspired to be a great hero, although he was born without any powers; but his life is completely changed when he meets Japan’s greatest Hero All Might, who allows Midoriya to inherit his power.
10 MHA x Spider-Man
Midoriya and Peter Parker have much in common. They are both valiant crusaders of justice and have an unmatched sense of the responsibility that comes with their superpowers. Another factor they have in common is that they both need to keep their powers secret from people close to them.
While Peter Parker has to keep everything about his superhero identity secret, Deku is also in a similar situation where he has to keep the origin of his powers hidden from everybody else. Deku and Uraraka would fit right in in the Marvel Universe, as shown in this fanart by green-tea-is-love.

Midoriya has always been shown to be the kind of person who greatly admires and looks up to all kinds of superheroes (especially All-Might) and even goes as far as taking notes about them and their quirks. Saitama on the other hand might is one of the strongest heroes in his world, but rarely any people are aware of his superb talents.
If under any circumstances the two were to come across each other, as depicted in this fanart by rtilrtil, both would probably be ecstatic and have a good time analyzing each other’s powers.

The Sailor Moon redraw challenge gained quite some popularity a few days ago when a screenshot from the show started trending and many people across various social media platforms tried their hand at redrawing it in their own image.
This particular one, done by lovemusic45, combines the iconic look of Usagi in her Sailor Moon outfit and combines it with Himiko Toga, one of the major recurring antagonists in My Hero Academia who has been a long-time affiliate of the League of Villains. She posses more of a psychopathic personality than many of the other villains in the show, with a seemingly unhealthy infatuation with violence and bloodshed.

Just like My Hero Academia’s Izuku Midoriya, Demon Slayer follows the story of a young boy named Tanjiro Kamado who goes through many hardships to train and grow stronger as a demon slayer, for the sake of reverting his sister back into a human from a demon. While Deku starts off as completely powerless and then instantly gains an uncontrollable amount of power, Tanjiro is allowed no such luxuries. But they both go through rigorous training to brings themselves to the level where they’re powers can be effectively used for good.

Marvel’s X-Men is a superhero team much like the various teams seen in MHA, consisting of people with different kinds of powers that are useful in their respective strategic situations.
Just like how Midoriya and his friends study at the U.A. High School, the X-Men also run their own educational institution where they bring up the next generation of Homo superior. Wolverine has always been shown to be a man of rough personality, but even then he has a soft spot for many things. He’d surely get along with somebody as sympathetic as Eri, as portrayed in this fanart by edCOM02.
5 MHA x La La Land
Starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone in the lead, the 2016 romantic musical La La Land was one of the critically acclaimed movies of the year and won many awards including but not limited to 5 Oscars. In the MHA anime, a possible relationship between Midoriya and Uraraka has been teased many times throughout, and it’s a ship many fans are hoping will set sail someday.
For now, all that is available are fan arts, such as this one by mohi_100 which shows the two of them in an iconic dance move from the movie poster.

1988’s Akira is one of the most influential animated films of all time that not only revolutionized the industry with its animation but gained critical acclaim worldwide.
Set in the dystopian city of Neo-Tokyo, it tells the story of a biker gang and their clash against other gangs and the military when one of their member’s gains telekinetic abilities. This fanart by Deku features a mashup of Midoriya and the Akira poster, in which Shotaro Kaneda can be seen heading towards his iconic bike.
3 MHA x Attack on Titan
Despite being relatively new, Attack on Titan has accomplished and set enough records to cement its position as one of the greatest feats of the anime industry. Set in a world where humongous humanoid “titans” have forced what remains of humanity to live in cities engaged by huge walls, it tells the story of Eren Yeager and his comrades in the scout regiment as they uncover the long-hidden mysteries of the titans.

2 MHA x Batman and Superman
It is no secret that My Hero Academia heavily draws inspiration from mainstream superhero comics such as Marvel and DC, and who better to take inspiration from other than two of the greatest comic book heroes ever.
Considering All-Might is almost on the level of Superman and that they’re both distinguished heroes, surely they would be good acquaintances if they were to exist in the same world. And being his protege, All-Might would surely bring Midoriya around so that he could meet Superman and even Batman maybe, as portrayed in this fan art by mim_mon.
1 MHA x Snow White
This fanart by IMJAYU reimagines the characters of MHA in the world of Disney’s classic animated film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Tsuyu “Froppy” Asui can be seen as the titular Snow White, Fumikage “Tsukuyomi” Tokoyami as supposedly the Prince, and Himiko Toga as the villainous witch.
It would certainly be an interesting premise to see how the super-powered characters of MHA would fit into the magical world of Snow White. Although most fan arts tend to feature Midoriya or other popular characters, this one takes a different approach.
