Players can learn how to get more Horde Rush Points in Fortnite season 8. As part of this year’s Fortnitemares event, the annual Fortnite Halloween that takes place every October, players are able to participate in a new Horde Rush mode. In this game mode, players will face off against waves after waves of monsters from the Sideways. This has been a prevalent location in season 8 as many challenges have required players to take down Cube Monsters, or collect materials for extra challenges. It has been a big way for players to level up fast in Fortnite season 8 but this mode comes along with exclusive unlocks. In order to unlock them, players will need to score high points in the Horde Rush mode.

Players are able to unlock a new emote, spray, and back bling depending on how well they score during the Horde Rush mode. The real prize is the Thinking Juice back bling, which requires players to earn 2,000,000 Team Points. Fortunately, this is a cooperative mode where players can join a group of up to three other players for a total of four.

To earn more points in Horde Rush mode, players should try to play a game with friends they can communicate with. Outside of being able to share Fortnite square with friends in season 8, players can also work together to clear out every Horde Mode challenge. Playing with randoms or solo will make this task much more difficult. Horde Rush also has a few ways for players to earn additional points while in the match. At any point, players can join Horde Rush mode from the main menu.

How To Earn More Points In Horde Rush Mode in Fortnite

Players should always remain on the move and avoid staying in one place for too long. It’s easy for Fortnite’s Cube Monsters to corner players who aren’t careful. The environment of the Sideways also allows for players to jump much higher. Use this as an advantage for getting away. Fortunately in the Horde Mode, players won’t need to know where to find the Sideways since the match starts right on the inside of one. These are all the different ways for players to earn more points in Horde Rush.

• Multipliers: These are items that players can find throughout each of the Cube Monster waves that will increase the number of points players can earn for a limited time. Grab these as often as possible. This is easily the most helpful item to make it to max score.
• Grab Loot: Outside of killing monsters in the Sideways, players can go around the map and collect ammo. Grabbing items will give players a small point boost without having to interact with any enemies.
• Defeat The Caretaker: This is the final boss of the Horde Rush mode. Players will need to defeat it in order to cross over the 2 million point mark. It has shockwave attacks that can do some massive knockback to the player so make sure to use the glider item to avoid being knocked into a dangerous position. Defeating this boss will give players an additional 100,000 points.

Players will have enough points to unlock the Thinking Juice backpack bling. Just continue to play the game mode and practice to earn more points. Fortnitemares will come to a close once October ends, meaning the Horde Rush mode will likely go along with it.
