Genshin Impacts Mimi Tomo Event & Furnishing Blueprints Explained

Now that Version 1.5 of Genshin Impact is wrapping up, miHoYo’s free-to-play RPG is getting a few final events to end this bit of content. The latest event arriving in the game is called “Mimi Tomo,” where players must interact with hilichurls in order to complete tasks and earn rewards. Here’s everything to know about the event’s requirements and rewards, including Furnishing Blueprints and Primogems.

The Mimi Tomo event begins on May 27, 2021, and runs through June 6, 2021. Players who complete this will also unlock a final quest to earn rewards, which won’t start until June 6 and ends promptly on June 8. This means the Mimi Tomo event will be ending right before Version 1.6 of Genshin Impact is released. To begin the event, players will need to join forces with Ella Musk, the hilichurl expert, to start investigating the so-called Unusual Hilichurl.

Once the event is activated, players will travel around with Ella Musk and fulfill the requests of specific hilichurls. There are a total of seven Sighting Locations to investigate, with one being released each day during the event. In order to participate, however, players will need to be Adventure Rank 20 or higher. This has become standard practice for Genshin Impact events like Windtrace and Hangouts, so it’s not too surprising that this is the requirement here.

Genshin Impact’s Mimi Tomo Rewards Explained

Upon completing requests for the hilichurls, they’ll tell players of the Unusual Hilichurl’s whereabouts and when it’s most active. Players can defeat the Unusual Hilichurl each day to earn rewards. At the end of the event, those who completed it can unlock the final quest, “The Lost Hilichurl,” in Mondstadt. Completing this final quest will also net players some great rewards.

The confirmed rewards for the Mimi Tomo event include the usual items of EXP books like Hero’s Wit, Primogems, and Mora. However, the event also gives players a chance to get Liyue-themed Furnishing Blueprints. Given the popularity of Genshin Impact’s housing system, this is quite the nice reward. For now, these are all the rewards confirmed by miHoYo so far.

Events have been a great way to keep players coming back to Genshin Impact since the game’s initial release, and this latest event should help round out the Version 1.5 content. The Furnishing Blueprints are an especially nice reward, although free Primogems are also always exciting. More events will likely be announced for Version 1.6 during the official livestream later this week.
