Gregg Sulkin has made an impression for his role on Runaways, but what other movies and shows has the young actor appeared in? Runaways is based on the Marvel comic of the same name, which debuted in 2003. The premise follows a group of kids who discover the evil deeds of their parents, and band together to try and stop them; thankfully, they have superpowers to help with this. Runaways was originally developed as a movie adaptation, but the project was put on a backburner to focus on The Avengers instead.

Following the huge success of The Avengers, Runaways ended up being canceled altogether. After being kicked around in development for a time, Runaways finally became a TV series set within the MCU, which premiered in late 2017. Runaways joined other MCU shows like Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D and Daredevil and has proven to be a solid ratings success. It will return for a third season in December 2019.

Runaways is led by a talented young cast, including Lyrica Okano, Rhenzy Feliz, and Gregg Sulkin as Chase Stein. Sulkin began his acting career at a young age, first appearing in British comedy drama Sixty Six in 2006 opposite Helena Bonham Carter and Eddie Marsan (Deadpool 2). Sulkin played the lead role of Bernie, a young Jewish boy whose bar mitzvah is overshadowed by the 1966 football World Cup final. The movie received good reviews, and Sulkin would follow up with appearances on TV likes Doctor Who spin-off The Sarah Jane Adventures and the Disney Channel’s Wizards of Waverly Place beside Selena Gomez. He later reprised his role as Mason for TV movie The Wizards Return: Alex Vs Alex, which served as a finale for the series.

Gregg Sulkin has jumped back and forth between film and TV projects for most of his career. His movie roles include 2011’s Camilla Dickinson, Anti-Social alongside Meghan Markle (Suits), and horror movie Don’t Hang Up; he also provided voice-over work for animated projects A Mouse Tale and Yak: The Giant King.

He appeared in three episodes of sitcom Melissa & Joey in 2012 and had a recurring role on Pretty Little Liars. He played a lead role on MTV’s romantic comedy Faking It for three seasons and made guest appearances in Life In Pieces opposite Colin Hanks and Young & Hungry. Outside of the Runaways, Gregg Sulkin’s upcoming projects include movie comedy Deported, A Cinderella Story: Christmas Wish and Chinese sci-fi epic Qi: Spacetime Warriors.
