Rose McIver’s days as Liv, the zombie detective who charmed viewers for five seasons of iZombie, are over. However, McIver will soon come back as Sam, and she’s bringing some ghost friends.

Ghosts is the title of a supernatural comedy coming to CBS with McIver in the lead, as reported by THR. Sam and her husband Ryan inherit a large house in the country and move in, only to find that it’s already populated by some pushy spirits who want Sam’s attention.

Also confirmed for the cast is Brandon Scott Jones, who will play Isaac, one of the ghosts whose troubles Sam will be mediating. Isaac was a militiaman of the late 1700s, but rather than meeting his end through a noble battle, he died of dysentery.

In addition to iZombie, McIver has had roles in Once Upon a Time and the Christmas Prince movies on Netflix. Jones is best known for his recurring character on The Good Place, gossip blogger John Wheaton.

Ghosts is based on a BBC series of the same name. The writers currently credited are Joe Port and Joe Wiseman. They will also serve as executive producers along with Mathew Baynton, Jim Howick, Simon Farnaby, Laurence Rickard, Ben Willbond, Martha Howe-Douglas, Alison Carpenter, Debra Hayward, Alison Owen and Angie Stephenson. The show does not yet have a release date.
