This weekend, Netflix will add a horror thriller movie, the second season of a horror TV series, and a new adult animated TV series. The entertainment industry seems to have gone back to normal now, with cinemas around the world open and working again (with the appropriate measures required during the pandemic) and people slowly but surely returning to them to watch the latest releases. However, streaming platforms haven’t lost any force, and in Netflix’s case, it has kept its audience’s interest by adding new licensed and original content every week.

Last weekend welcomed the heist comedy movie Going in Style, season 11 of Shameless (US), the documentary Rita Moreno: Just a Girl Who Decided to Go For It, the comedy-drama Smart People, and season 3 of In The Dark, along with the second season of The Baby-Sitters Club, the psychological thriller movie Fever Dream, and season 3 of the psychological thriller TV series You. This weekend, Netflix will add the popular anime Cowboy Bebop (ahead of the release of the live-action version), season 4 of Dynasty, and the documentary We Steal Secrets: The Story of Wikileaks.

As for original content, Netflix subscribers will get to enjoy a psychological thriller movie, season 2 of a TV series based on a comic book series by Joe Hill, and a new animated series for adults. Here are the best movies and TV shows coming to Netflix this weekend – October 22.
