Fox and Blue Sky Pictures have released two more character posters for “The Peanuts Movie,” the 3D-animated adaptation of Charles M. Schulz’s beloved comic strip.
Arriving courtesy of Fandango, they spotlight best buds Peppermint Patty (with the tagline “My Friends Call Me Sir”) and Marcie (“A-Dork-Able”). They join previously released character posters for Snoopy and Woodstock, Charlie Brown, Linus Van Pelt and Lucy Van Pelt.
Patricia “Peppermint Patty” Reichardt was introduced in “Peanuts” on Aug. 22, 1966, followed by Marcie on July 20, 1971 (although she wasn’t given a name until Oct. 11).
Opening Nov. 6, “The Peanuts Movie” is directed by Steve Martino (“Ice Age: Continental Drift”) from a script by Schulz’s sons Craig and Bryan, and Cornelius Uliano.
