The Real Housewives Of The North Pole 8 Main Characters Ranked By Likability

Bravo isn’t the only one churning out Real Housewives content. Peacock joined the craze this year with the release of their original Christmas movie The Housewives of The North Pole staring real-life Housewive Kyle Richards. The holiday movie centers on two best friends, Diana and Trish, who have a public falling out that leaves them both competing against each other for the best Christmas house display in town.

Things also get tense when a journalist comes to town and Diana and Trish’s adult children are secretly falling for each other. With tons of drama comes tons of hilarious and dramatic characters for fans to root for, The Housewives of The North Pole has no shortage of likable and dislikeable characters.

8 Xander

Xander (Alex Mapa) isn’t from the North Pole, Vermont but that doesn’t stop him from sinking his teeth into all the town’s juicy drama. As a producer of a major publication, Xander is responsible for trying to get Kendall (Tetona Jackson) to write a scathing expose on the women in the town.

While Xander might be good at his job, he’s not winning any “most caring person” awards. Even when Kendall tries to kill the story out of fear of hurting everyone in town, Xander pushes on and even shows up. He’s definitely a selfish character who gives Scrooge a run for his money and is one of the worst movie bosses.

7 Trish

Despite being one of the main protagonists of the movie, Trish (Kyle Richards) definitely isn’t the most likable of characters. As the self-proclaimed Queen of the North Pole, Trish runs a tight ship where everything must go her way.

In addition to being uptight about the house decorating competition, she is uber controlling when it comes to her daughter’s life and has it planned out to the tee. Trish’s lack of letting go is what makes her such a frustrating character to watch even if she does mean well.

6 Diana

While not as high-strung as Trish, Diana (Betsy Brandt) has her own pitfalls that keep her from being the best character in The Housewives of The North Pole. Her one redeeming feature is that she truly is a loyal friend who would go to the ends of the Earth to help those she cares about.

However, it’s her unwillingness to accept her divorce and move on that had many viewers keeping her from the top of their favorite list. Plus, she nearly missed out on dating a great guy solely because she was still mourning the loss of her cheating ex.

5 Paul

Paul (Carlos Ponce) spends most of the time communicating with his wife, Trish, via FaceTime while trying to secure a new job opportunity. While that might land him on the list of crappy husbands, Paul is actually a great one especially since he has to put up with Trish.

Even with the family in financial trouble and Trish recklessly spending to win the competition, Paul remains calm and collected, never once lashing out at his well-meaning wife. Plus, he has an adorable relationship with his daughter which gives them plenty of great father-daughter moments.

4 Jake

As Diana’s only child Jake (Kyle Selig) is the apple of his mom’s eye. He’s also her emotional support since she’s still reeling from her divorce from his father. As if that’s not enough to deal with, Jake also has some problems of his own namely trying to find a job despite graduating from an Ivy League school.

Despite all that’s being thrown at him, Jake never becomes cynical of his degree or resents his mom for how much she relies on him for support. Instead, he leans into it and even manages to find love while dealing with everything.

3 Skye

Like Jake, Skye (Jearnest Corchado) is the only child of Trish which means she’s also the apple of her mom’s eye. However, while Diana manifests love in a supporting way, Trish manifests it by micromanaging her daughter’s life.

Even though Sky and Trish aren’t always on the same page, Skye always defends her mother. In fact, she gets incredibly upset when Jake suggests that being like Trish is a bad thing. It’s this fierce loyalty that makes Skye such a great character. Plus, she ends up standing up to Trish and chasing her own dreams which is what really matters.

2 Kendall

As one of the only outsiders in North Pole, Vermont, Kendall has a lot to learn about how the town operates. There to find a story to write about, Kendall instantly hits it off with Trish and Diana as they talk about their friendship and the house decorating contest.

While Kendall does backstab the ladies a bit, she quickly pulls away from her sinister boss and sees the error in her ways. She even jeopardizes her entire career as a writer to save Diana and Trish from the terrible story Xander is trying to tell about them. Giving her one of the best redemption arcs in the entire movie.

1 Nick

When it comes to wholesome, unproblematic characters Nick (Damon Dayoub) wins without contest. A wildlife researcher, Nick stumbles into North Pole, Vermont to try and figure out why the town’s beloved reindeer have gone missing the last few years. While there, he ends up hitting it off with Diana.

Unlike most men, Nick isn’t pushy when it comes to his feelings for Diana. He understands she’s still processing her divorce and doesn’t bat an eye when she tells him she might not be ready for several years. Instead, he agrees to wait for her which kind of makes him the perfect man.
