10 Ellie Kemper Is A New Mama

Ellie Kemper plays the titular Kimmy Schmidt. After years of being held captive underground, Kimmy and her fellow Mole Women are released, which is where the story kicks off. Kimmy has a few love interests in the show but she’s too busy helping her friends and growing as a person to pay those relationships any mind.

In real life, Kemper is married to comedian and writer Michael Koman. The couple married in 2012 and have two children together.

A beautiful storyline in Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is Mikey’s realization that he was a gay man. As a construction worker, he hit on women because that’s what he saw his co-workers doing. It wasn’t until he met Titus that he realized he was attracted to men. The pair ended up learning a lot from each other and falling in love. They’re one of the most beloved couples in the series.

What some fans don’t know is that Mike Carlsen isn’t gay in real life. He’s actually engaged to a woman named Racine Russell.

5 Jon Hamm & Anna Osceola Keep Things Private

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt may be a lighthearted comedy, but there are some serious actors starring in it. One of them is Mad Man star, Jon Hamm. Jon plays the antagonist, the Reverend. He’s so delusional that he believed there was going to be an apocalypse and kidnapped young women to keep as his captives underground. Once the Mole Women were saved, the Reverend went to jail. In the newly released Netflix special, the Reverend escapes and tries to create a new bunker.

Outside of the show, Jon Hamm is clearly nothing like the Reverend. He was once married to actress Jennifer Westfeldt until 2015. Nowadays, it’s rumored he’s been dating Anna Osceola for three years.

4 Tina Fey & Jeff Richmond Have Been Married For Almost 20 Years

Not only is Tina Fey the creator of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt but she also played Kimmy’s therapist who had a major drinking problem. She also played one of the lawyers against the Reverend!

Tina Fey is a big-wig in Hollywood and has been married to composer Jeff Richmond since 2001. The couple is often seen strolling around New York City with their two daughters, Alice and Penelope.

3 Sara Chase Was Married For A Year

Sara Chase plays Kimmy’s closest friend from her Mole Women days, Cyndee. Unlike Kimmy, Cyndee loved being recognized as a Mole Woman and tried capitalizing on it financially. In fact, she got so many people to feel bad for her that she even got her childhood crush to propose to her. The only problem was that he was gay and only marrying her to make her happy.

Sara Chase’s private life—unlike Cyndee’s—seems lowkey. She doesn’t show too much on social media, but she was once married to Elliott Stieglitz from 2012 to 2013

2 Lauren Adams Is Engaged To A Grammy-Nominated Songwriter

Lauren Adams plays fellow Mole Woman, Gretchen. Out of all the Mole Women, Gretchen has the most psychological issues after being rescued. She appears to enjoy the cult atmosphere and liked having a leader to report to. She even tried creating her own cult with a bunch of young boys as her followers. In the Netflix special, not much is said about Gretchen’s future but she was robbing a bank in one scene.

Lauren Adams’s Instagram is filled with smitten photos of her and her boyfriend, Seth Philpott. The two have been dating for quite some time and got engaged in March of this year!

1 Sol Miranda

Sol Miranda plays the hilarious fourth Mole Woman, Donna Maria. In the bunker, Donna only spoke Spanish and pretended to never understand the women (even though she secretly learned English while held captive). When Donna is rescued, she turned her Mole Woman fame into a salsa business and appears successful.

Outside of the show, Sol Miranda is a tenured professor of drama at Hostos Community College and is married to her husband David, whom she met while in Tokyo. But like many of her co-stars, her relationship is kept under wraps.
