Valorant Best Items From Season 2 Battle Pass (Act 3)

A new act has begun in Valorant, which means a new battle pass has arrived with even more content and cosmetics to unlock. With an asking price of 1000 Valorant points ($10) is it worth it?

As is the case with most battle passes that are released today, it depends on how much time you plan on playing the game and if cosmetics are something worth grinding for throughout the season. Here are some of the best items that can be unlocked from the Season 2 Act 3 battle pass.

Player Cards & Weapon Buddies in Valorant

Valorant Best Items From Season 2 Battle Pass (Act 3)

Player cards are really cool drawings and images that show off the world and characters of Valorant. More often than not, they give a little more backstory or character lore and sometimes they look like they were created from memes. There are 12 cards to collect in total here, but three really stand out. Knife fight displays Jett and Raze rushing at each other with knives in a cool dual perspective, and is unlocked at tier 11. Reyna Versus Viper is another player card pitting two characters against each other but here it’s set up more like a movie poster for a versus movie which makes it unique and is unlocked at tier 29. The last player card worth getting is bloodline, which portrays a hand-drawn two-faced Yoru that could easily be made into a poster, and is unlocked at tier 50.

While weapon buddies aren’t as big of rewards as the weapon skins included in the pass, they are still a fun and unique way of showing off some personality within your weapons. There are ten weapon buddies in total to collect from this pass, but the best ones are The Lucky Dice, Get Carried, and Dan The Penguin charms. These three are a good combination of being cool, being funny, and being a troll. And those are all things Valorant players aim to be.

Weapon Skins in Valorant

The best part of any battle pass, the weapon skins in Valorant Season 2 Act 3 don’t disappoint. There are three different skins for weapons in this pass consisting of Songsteel, Lightwave, and Depths. Songsteel infuses a slick silver metal with an older and more blunt wooden finish that perfectly blends old and new. These can be unlocked at tiers 1, 15, and 40, and can be equipped on the Guardian, Classic Pistol, and the Marshall. The knife included at tier 50, like every season, is also a Songsteel knife that looks like a combination of a pirate cutlass and elven blade. Lightwave is a colorful and radiating skin that is consistently changing colors between blue, purple, yellow, and pink.

These can be unlocked at tiers 10, 25, 35 and 50, and can be equipped for the Sherriff, Phantom, Odin, and Frenzy. The last skin available is Depths. Easily the most unique on the list, Depths covers the weapon in a glowing aquatic blue with different creatures and fauna to make a gun that truly looks out it was pulled from the deepest depths of the ocean. These can be unlocked at tiers 5, 20, 30, and 45, and can be equipped on the bulldog, Stinger, Ghost, and Vandal. With 55 days in the act to attain tier 50, Valorant players have a lot to grind for besides their competitive rank this season.
