Pokémon Legends: Arceus players can find 20 of the 107 wisps needed to catch Spiritomb scattered throughout the Obsidian Fieldlands.

Spiritomb returns in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and like past Pokémon games, catching it requires players to complete a time-intensive side-quest. Whereas Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl had players speak to different NPCs, Legends: Arceus has players gathering 107 wisps from across all of Hisui. Players automatically unlock this quest, “Eerie Apparitions in the Night,” while playing through the main story when quest-giver Vessa gives players an Odd Keystone and asks players to collect all of the wisps using it.

The first seven wisps can be found right away in Jubilife Village after receiving the quest, but the rest are spread throughout the other regions and require access to all Ride Pokémon. As a general rule, locating the wisps is easiest to do during the evening and nighttime, as this is when it’s easiest to see their purple glow. Here’s how to find every wisp in the Obsidian Fieldlands.

Where to Find the Wisp by the Fieldlands Camp

The first wisp is located southwest of the Fieldlands Camp, between the Floaro Gardens and Aspiration Hill. Players will need Sneasler, as this wisp is on the plateau with a single tree near the mountainside.

Where To Find The First Wisp By Lake Verity

The second wisp is at the base of the mountains by Lake Verity, south of the first. This one also requires players to use Sneasler to reach it.

Where To Find The Second Wisp By Lake Verity

The third wisp is on the outer edge of the mountain range surrounding Lake Verity, by the river running along the inner landmass of the Obisidan Fieldlands. Players will need Sneasler or Braviary to reach this wisp.

Where To Find The Unnamed Island Wisp

Southeast from Lake Verity is a small unnamed island. The fourth wisp is close to the water and requires the new Pokémon Basculegion to reach it.

Where To Find The Sandgem Flats Wisp

The fifth wisp is on the tall rock that juts out south of Lake Verity’s entrance in the Sandgem Flats.

Where To Find The Ramanas Island Wisp

Southeast of the Sandgem Flats is the sixth wisp, located on Ramanas Island. Players will need Basculegion to reach this. It is on the rock hill overlooking the forested area.

Where To Find The First Wisp By Moss Rock

The seventh wisp is south of Ramanas Island. It is on the farthest point of land jutting out into the water, near the edge of the southern map.

Where To Find The Second Wisp By Moss Rock

The eighth wisp is on a small hill near the southern mountain range, east of the previous wisp.

Where To Find The First Wisp In The Heartwood

The ninth wisp is located west of the Grandtree Arena where players fight against the frenzied Noble Pokémon Kleavor. This wisp is on a bluff overlooking the Tidewater Dam.

Where To Find The Second Wisp In The Heartwood

The tenth wisp is east of the Tidewater Dam. Players can find the wisp on the cliffs overlooking the river.

Where To Find The Wisp By Oreburrow Tunnel

The eleventh wisp is on the cliff directly above the opening to the Oreburrow Tunnel.

Where To Find The Wisp By The Obsidian Falls

The twelfth wisp is northeast of the Obsidian Falls and requires use of Basculegion. Players can find the wisp on a rock just to the right of the Falls’ base.

Where To Find The Wisp By The Grueling Grove

The thirteenth wisp is located just north of the Obsidian Falls. Players will need to use Sneasler to climb up the mountainside to reach the wisp.

Where To Find The Wisp By The Horseshoe Plains

The fourteenth wisp is on a high rock in the northeastern part of the Horseshoe Plains. Players will need Sneasler to retrieve this wisp.

Where To Find The Wisp By The Worn Bridge

The fifteenth wisp is just across the river from the base of the Worn Bridge.

Where To Find The Wisp By The Deertrack Path

The sixteenth wisp is west of the Worn Bridge at the Deertrack Path. Players can use Sneasler to scale the mountainside and reach it.

Where To Find The Wisp By The Windswept Run

The seventeenth wisp is just west of the Heights Camp. Players can use Sneasler to reach the wisp midway up the mountainside.

The eighteenth wisp is at the tip of the high rock looming over the Heights Camp.

Where To Find The Wisp By Nature’s Pantry

The nineteenth wisp is on a plateau in Nature’s Pantry just northwest of the Tidewater Dam.

Where To Find The Second Wisp By The Obsidian Falls

The final wisp in the Obsidian Fieldlands is southwest of the Obsidian Falls, located on the highest point of the mountain range adjacent to the river.
