The Mandalorian Characters Sorted Into Their Hogwarts Houses

Though The Mandalorian has shown what it’s like to make good TV, there are many attributes that make it a success. It has revealed a lot about the Star Wars universe and has compelling characters with detailed relationships and interesting plots.

At the same time, it’s a fun idea to imagine these characters in Harry Potter universe and see what this crossover could lead to. Here are The Mandalorian Characters Sorted Into Their Hogwarts Houses.

10 Dr. Pershing: Gryffindor

It’s a pity we didn’t see more of Dr. Pershing considering that he seems to be a positive character despite working for the antagonists. The scene that proves this is the one where the Mandalorian comes to save the Child, and Dr. Pershing starts shouting that he was trying to protect the kid. The Mandalorian decides not to kill him.

The fact that Dr. Pershing decided to protect the Child even though he was could suffer a lot as punishment shows that he is fairly brave. Of course, there is not enough information to say for sure, but he seems to be a Gryffindor more than any other Hogwarts house.

9 The Armorer: Ravenclaw

Another character that we don’t see much is the Armorer. She seems to be one of the surviving Mandalorians who still believes in their traditions and actively practices them as well as promoting them among other Mandalorians. She also makes their armor.

Though she is strict, she is also very respected and admired in her circles. At the same time, she seems to be quite smart and knows how to act fast in complex situations. This obviously makes her a Ravenclaw. She also knows a lot about Mandalorian traditions, which is another sign of her intelligence.

8 The Client: Slytherin

Though we don’t even know his name, the Client is one of the biggest and most important antagonists in the show, probably second only to Moff Gideon. The Client is the one who arranges for the Mandalorian to track down the Child and bring it to him.

The Client is definitely in a position of power considering that he has stormtrooper bodyguards. Taking into account his malicious intent and his whole evil persona, it is safe to say that he is a Slytherin. If we find out more about him, perhaps we will know more about his personality and it will be easier to determine his Hogwarts house.

7 Moff Gideon: Slytherin

The main antagonist of the whole show, Moff Gideon does not appear early on in the series, but the Mandalorian does have a history with him which makes their relationship more personal — which could potentially lead to a very interesting development further on.

Moff Gideon already makes quite a terrifying villain. He is in a position of power and he is quite determined when it comes to achieving whatever he has set out to achieve. His sly nature, combined with his words, actions, and decisions mostly signal that he is a Slytherin.

6 IG-11: Ravenclaw

Who would have thought that a droid could have a personality? But with Star Wars and such famous droids like C-3PO and R2-D2, anything is possible. Obviously, The Mandalorian absolutely needed to have its own droid, and it is IG-11. Besides, he even goes through some character development.

Though he might have started out mostly as a Slytherin, he then turned into a Hufflepuff. However, if you consider that he is programmed to have certain skills and possess valuable knowledge, it is safe to say that he is, in fact, an artificially-constructed Ravenclaw.

5 Kuiil: Hufflepuff

One of the most iconic phrases we have heard in the show so far comes from none other than Kuiil (“I have spoken.”) That being said, Kuiil is also one of the more neutral characters who tries to avoid conflict at all cost, but he also doesn’t shy away from helping someone in need.

With his fairly friendly but cautious nature, Kuiil is definitely a Hufflepuff. He isn’t looking for power or fame, he doesn’t manipulate anyone or try to deceive people. Kuiil is just a farmer who wants to have a peaceful life after having to work as a slave.

4 Cara Dune: Slytherin

By far the only character who first seems to be a bad guy who then turns out to be a good guy is Cara Dune. Though she does have a “spiky” nature and can be blunt in many conversations, but that doesn’t mean that she is not kind or friendly when she gets closer to someone.

Even though it doesn’t seem so at first, Cara is a Slytherin. She mostly pursues only her own interests and goals, but she does warm up to the Mandalorian and others a little more as time goes by, and they have to cover up for each other repeatedly.

3 Greef Karga: Ravenclaw

Greef Karga seems to be that one character who is never constant and can never be truly understood. As the audience, we are never sure what he is thinking and what his plans are, but it is nice to see that he ultimately joins the Mandalorian and sticks by his side until the end.

Though it might first appear that he would be a Slytherin with such an approach, he is actually a Ravenclaw. He always tries to find a good solution, but he also relies on his emotions to guide him in difficult situations. This is exactly why he decides to protect the Child in the end.

2 The Child: Hufflepuff

The Child (also labeled as Baby Yoda) might not have a fully formed personality yet, but he is already developing into a fun-loving kid. Just like any other child, he is curious about the world, loves playing with other kids, and gets almost anything in his mouth —he even tried eating a frog.

The Child is most obviously a Hufflepuff, at least for now. He uses his powers to help the Mandalorian and company. He is mostly friendly to anyone he meets, even if this is due to his child-like curiosity. In any case, we will have to wait and see what kind of “Yoda” he becomes.

1 The Mandalorian: Gryffindor

Being the main protagonist of the show, the Mandalorian mostly possesses good traits and shows himself as a positive character. Though he does try to be neutral sometimes (his job is literally killing people for money, even if these people are the bad guys), he mostly acts as a good guy.

When he decides to go against his client and save the Child, he makes a brave decision even if it is a stupid one and will probably cost him his life. This is exactly why he is a Gryffindor. His actions might be questionable, but he is honorable, respected, and admirable most of the time.
